About Violet

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an attacking player with a nose for the goal. I love scoring goals and creating goal scoring opportunities for my teammates. I am fast and aggressive and willing to do anything to get the ball in the back of the net.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have been told that I am driven with a strong work ethic. I love goal setting and then working to achieve those goals. When I set my mind to something it's going to happen eventually. I always try to see the positive side of situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Through middle school I was a multi-sport athlete and an honor roll student. I played AAU basketball and my team won state two years in a row. I ran track and excelled in the 100, 200, high jump and 4x100 relay. I was elected secretary of my 8th grade class. I plan to apply for the National Honors Society and get involved in leadership in high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through middle school I took leadership and was elected student body secretary. I have also developed leadership skills by running a kids soccer camp in the summer. Playing in the ECNL league has taught me to be the best that I can be and to work with and support my teammates in order for our team to have success.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenge that comes to mind for me has been continuing to have the drive to play soccer at the highest level available. I was late to physically develop compared to my teammates and I am a late 2010 player being born in December. Some seasons I didn't get the playing time I wanted and I had to mentally persevere through that. I also juggled multiple sports while playing year round soccer.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to attend a college with strong school spirit and pride. I take my academics very seriously and want to attend law school. I am hoping to attend a college that will prepare me to take my soccer to the next level while also reaching my academic and career goals.
