Penn Fusion star Madison Shumate Madison Shumate F Downingtown East (PA) | 2024 State #63 Nation PA is the top player in the class. She is a right-footed winger, who could play on either side. She is technically skilled on the ball, and has great lower body control to withstand challenges. She is an intelligent player and always seems to pop up in the right spot around the box to get on the end of a chance. She showed her quality in the National Selection Game in April as she scored against some of the best players in the country in that game.
Lola Abraham Lola Abraham null | F Riverview (PA) | 2024 State #84 Nation PA is the No. 2 player in the class of 2024 in Pennsylvania. Abraham is a forward for Pittsburgh Riverhounds. She has the versatility to play any role in an attacking trio. She is a ball hunter around the box and has a quick first step to create space from her defenders. She is good defensively at pressing and will be a scouts favorite for how seriously she takes that side of the game.
Brooke Vogel Brooke Vogel M Gloucester County Institute Of Technology | 2024 State #132 Nation PA is fresh off a stellar season at the high school level. The Penn Fusion forward/midfielder showed that she has the quality to play as a center forward. She can finish under pressure and has good vision to see angles for runs and passes that most players don’t normally see at the club level. Vogel looks to be one to watch from the 2024 class.
Midfielder Ella Koschineg Ella Koschineg M Gwynedd Mercy Academy (PA) | 2024 State #168 Nation PA from FC Bucks is a player to watch from this class. She is a strong tackler and does well in the timing of her challenges. Koschineg will be one to watch this summer as more scouts turn their attention to the 2024 class.
Center back Kate Weyer Kate Weyer D State PA (FC Bucks) impressed scouts with her play at the Jefferson Cup this year. When she is in contact with a forward, she can shut them down with her strength and physical presence. Once she has possession of the ball, she is excellent at picking her head and finding a teammate to get her team into the transitional phase of attacking. Weyer also showed key attributes in intercepting passes and disrupting the passing lanes. She has the tools to be a standout defender at the next level.
Ava DeGeorge Ava DeGeorge M Archbishop Wood (PA) | 2024 State PA is a player to know in this class.
