The initial rankings include a couple of players in the U.S. Youth National Team, ECNL All-Conference honorees, and Girls Academy National Talent camp invitees. The Michigan class of 2025 is a class to watch moving forward as two of the top club teams in the elite leagues continue to develop and showcase the next generation from the state that has produced a number of great players in recent years.
Mya Brandon Mya Brandon null | D State #6 Nation MI , the outside back from the U.S. Youth National Team and Michigan Hawks, is the number one player in this class and going to be a highly ranked player in the national player rankings, which will be out in the near future.
PrepSoccer takes a deeper look at some of the players in the rankings below.
Ricketts is one of those players in Michigan who is in the National Team picture. She played for AFC Ann Arbor in the USL W League. She was the youngest player on the team. Ricketts has been a trailblazer for some time. She played on one of the best boys team in Michigan in the 2007 age group, and then played for some of the best girls club teams in the country in the 06 age group (playing up a year). She has been clear about her ambition to play at the highest levels in the future (professional, international). She is early on in her journey but the initial outlook is promising.
Aubree Ciampa Aubree Ciampa M Warren Woods-Tower | 2025 State #42 Nation MI is one of the top prospects from the Nationals 07 team. She is a midfielder with a more attacking mindset. She is technical and has good vision. She strikes the ball well and scored a number of goals from outside of the box when the defenders dropped off ball pressure. She is right footed, but tends to operate on the left side of the midfield triangle. She has quick feet and can play out of pressure. The tools are there for her to be a big time prospect in the college game.
Highlights
While watching film on this class, Olivia Schneider Olivia Schneider 5’3″ | D State #183 Nation MI was the player who popped off the page more than anyone else. She is a captivating player on game film. She has ridiculous recovery speed. There were a number of instances when the forward was well past the line of defense and clear on goal, but Schneider would chase her down and poke it away before the shot. She never quit on a play. She is moving from the Nationals Gray squad to the Nationals Blue squad in 2022. She will be one to watch during the GA season, as she looks to be one of the top center backs from Michigan.
Highlights
Cora Conley Cora Conley null | M State MI is a midfielder who can play as either the No. 8 or the No. 10. She combines really well with Sophia Bowman Sophia Bowman 5’6″ | M Northville | 2025 State MI to make the Michigan Jaguars midfield one of the strong pairings in the club game. Conley has more of an attacking mindset of the two. She’s not afraid to take players on with the ball at her feet. She is right foot and strikes the ball well on the run. She had a number of goals in the Girls Academy from shots taken outside of the box. Conley has a lot of potential to develop into a top player in her role. She is one to watch this season.
Bevilacqua is another player who jumped off the film from this class. She was a key player f0r the Michigan Hawks 07 team and earned a spot on the US Club Soccer id2 National Training Camp roster. She is an attacking midfielder who is great at making runs off the ball to join the forward line. She plays as an attacking midfielder, but there are times where she looks more like a support striker. She is good enough as a finisher around the box to think of her in that role as well. She has a poacher’s mentality and the soccer smarts to anticipate where to be to finish off chances. She has scored some big goals in her ECNL career and could be in line for even more in the future.
