We wrap up the girls version of the San Francisco City Series by moving to the top of the pitch and focusing on the forwards. These are girls that generally grab headlines because of their ability to create and score goals. Here are six of the standout forwards from San Francisco.

[player_tooltip player_id='56126' first='Sophia' last='Barker'], St. Ignatius, Junior, Forward

Barker is a hard worker with a very powerful shot who can score from the open field or on set pieces. She is a very feisty player who wants to make your day as hard as possible. She can play all over the field as well as she is very dynamic. Barker is working her way back from a knee injury, and is hoping to be back later this winter. She plays club at SF Elite.

[player_tooltip player_id='56112' first='Keely' last='Grove'], University, Senior, Forward

Grove is very strong, very quick and is a powerful runner who attacks a defense with pace. She is a creative player, and can create for herself or others, but her strength is getting on the end of a dangerous ball. She is very adept at finding space to be in, running off a defenders shoulders and taking advantage of balls sent into the box. Grove, who plays her club at SF Elite, recently committed to UC Davis.

[player_tooltip player_id='19557' first='Jasmine' last='Leshnick'], Lick-Wilmerding, Senior, Forward

Leshnick is what you are looking for in an attacking player. She is tall, fast, and tenacious. She is very technical as well, and with that pairing, she is one of the more highly rated players in all of Northern California. She is the kind of player who can win a game herself. She recently moved to Bay Area Surf for club. She does not play high school soccer, but she is very precocious, academically. She is in the application process with Harvard, where she would play soccer if accepted.

[player_tooltip player_id='19601' first='Josephine' last='Tunney'], St. Ignatius, Junior, Forward

Tunney is one of the top underclassmen strikers in California. She is very tall, very strong, and very fast. She can play the target striker and holds up play very well. If you play a ball in the air in the box, she's likely going to win it and get off a strong header. She was the striker of the year last season in the West Catholic Athletic League, and player her club at MVLA.

[player_tooltip player_id='56120' first='Sophia' last='Turnbull'], Sacred Heart Cathedral, Senior, Forward

Turnbull is a very physical forward as she uses her body to post up, or shield defenders in order to win the ball. She is fierce up top, using her physicality to beat defenders or to win a ball back if the defense is able to cut out an attack. She plays club soccer for San Francisco Glens, and has been seen time with the Western Region ODP.

Isabella Ong, University, Junior, Forward

Ong scored 20 goals for the Red Devils as a sophomore, and what is even more impressive is she handed out 16 assists. She is so dynamic that she can play as a No. 7, 9 or 11, and can also be a very explosive No. 10 if needed. She has an ability to take on defenders, beating them with her speed and creativity, drawing defenders to her and then setting up her teammates. Any time she has the ball at her feet, she is very dangerous. She plays club for the Marin FC 06
