Generation Adidas Day 3 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a windy day at IMG on Sunday leading to difficult conditions to play in. Tackles were flying in, the ball was a lot more difficult to judge out of the air and possession based teams had a little more difficulty connecting passes. It was a day where teams booked their place into the round of 16 and some teams were left to compete in the consolation brackets. His side dominated proceedings and he scored a good goal to put his team in the lead. Soccer doesn't always make sense as Dynamo continued to knock on the door for a second and Crew hit them on the counter to equalize right before halftime. Munson makes very intelligent runs and is a fantastic athlete. The left winger has an excellent turn of pace and has great technique. He is really good on the dribble and very difficult to judge in 1 on 1 situations. Scoring a great goal to give his side a 1-0 lead a one time finish with is favored left foot from just inside the center of the box. He is exceptional on the half turn and combines with his teammates well. He scored what looked to be a late equalizer for the Galaxy to make it 2-2 only for Dallas to score a goal in the last minute to make it 3-2 Houston. Desperate for another goal the Galaxy went forward on the kick off connected a couple of passes in the middle third only for Rivero to smash another equalizer in from about 25 yards. 2 goals in the span of about 3 minutes to carry his side to a 3-3 draw and a shootout. He's big, strong, fast and gives relentless effort. He put his side up 1-0 getting on the end of a through ball, rounding the goalie and tucking the ball away. His hold up play is outstanding, he can lay it off one time or make it stick when it suits him. Playing up an age group for the Charlotte Academy and still dominating play. The way he manipulates the ball is impressive. His ability to find pockets of space in the oppositions defense is uncanny. He glides with the ball on the dribble and is excellent at making progressive passes. The Chicago Fire had a frustrating afternoon against the Portland Timbers losing 1-0 even though they had the better of the game. But that didn't seem to alter Turdean's performance or attitude throughout the game. He made play after player whether it was his passing, dribbling or defensive effort. I can see why Turdean is on a homegrown contract and one of our countries most valued prospects.
