Top underclass girls in the North Bay

We recently looked at the top seniors in the North Bay, and now we turn our attention to the underclassmen. Some juniors have been recruited, and some are currently being recruited while some sophomores from the area will certainly be gaining a lot of attention this Winter.   [player_tooltip player_id='54217' first='Sloane' last='Carey'], Marin Catholic, Sophomore, Midfielder   Technically gifted for her age, Carey is also ahead of the curve when it comes to her soccer intelligence. She is a physical player and is a presence whenever she is on the pitch. She is not afraid to assert herself, both as a leader and as someone making a challenge and winning the ball. She plays her club at Bay Area Surf.   Gabby Hoeberichts, Tamalpais, Junior, Central Defender   Hoebrichts plays for the Marin FC 06 team and was a tremendous player last year for Tam High as a sophomore. She is a great athlete in the back line, and she is not afraid of making a challenge. She is fearless. She can push forward and help with the attack, and she's good in possession as she can help build up the attack.   [player_tooltip player_id='54235' first='Olivia' last='Holt'], Tamalpais, Sophomore, Striker   Holt is a striker who needs to be reckoned with when you face her at Tam High or when she's playing for Bay Area Surf's 07 team. She is very powerful, very fast and is not afraid to take players on and she's also not afraid of the moment, scoring many big goals for her club and high school team.   [player_tooltip player_id='54238' first='Ally' last='Hsieh'], Branson, Sophomore, Striker   Hsieh, a Mustang FC player, was a standout at Branson last season as a freshman. She does the little things that some don't notice with a striker. She shows great movement off the ball, and she has great balance, allowing her to keep defenders from winning the ball. She is also a talented finisher and can use either foot.   [player_tooltip player_id='18972' first='Abella' last='Hunter'], Cardinal Newman, Junior, Forward   Hunter is a dynamic, technical and skilled playmaking goal scorer. She loves to run at defenders in 1v1 situations. She is not afraid to take on a defender in any situation and she is very adept at putting the ball into the back of the net. She is verbally committed to UC Davis and plays her club soccer for the Santa Rosa United 06 team.   [player_tooltip player_id='51787' first='Maren' last='Jones'], Tamalpais, Junior, Attacking Midfielder   Jones is a high IQ soccer player who is crafty in the midfield. She displays great vision, creativity and technical qualities which give her the ability to unlock defenses. She demonstrates prowess in the final third and inside the box which has seen her score many vital goals for her club, Marin FC 06, and her high school.   [player_tooltip player_id='19215' first='Brynn' last='Korpela'], Maria Carrillo, Sophomore, Keeper   Korpela is already a stud keeper. As a freshman, she was the unanimous Defensive MVP of the North Bay Oak League. She is incredibly athletic, aggressive coming out on crosses and is not afraid to come off her line to clear balls. She is also a great shot stopper. She is the whole package as she is excellent with her feet and playing out of the defensive third. She reads the game well, communicates well and is greatly respected by her teammates. Colleges will be lining up to recruit her. She plays club for the Santa Rosa United 06 ECNL team.   [player_tooltip player_id='54231' first='Riley' last='Pearson'], Branson, Sophomore, Midfielder   Pearson is a player with a lot of heart, grit and determination. She is constant motion, energy and activity. Her engine does not quit and she does not tire easily. She leaves her impact on the midfield whenever she is on the pitch, doing so because of how deft she is at winning the ball. The Marin FC 06 player is also a very good athlete.
