PrepSoccer Player of the Week Poll: Oct. 4

The PrepSoccer Player of the Week highlights the best performances from the high school and club game from the past week (or two). Submissions are open on social media until Tuesday morning. Then the voting period is open until Thursday afternoon.

Makala Johnson, OK Energy 07 ECNL – Johnson scored two goals and added an assist in the win on Sunday over Classics Elite. She also scored a goal on Saturday in the win over Sting Austin.
Olivia Moynihan, Sayville HS – Moynihan recorded 15 saves in a 1-1 draw vs Kings Park last week. The sophomore goalkeeper was also in goal for the 3-1 win over Harborfields High School on Monday.

Ava Metts, GSA 07 ECNL – Metts scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Florida Elite last week. GSA is undefeated on the season with a 3-0-3 record.
Chase Stewart, Heat FC 07 ECNL – Stewart scored two goals in the 3-1 win over LAFC So Cal.
Jadyn DeRosa, Cedar Stars Academy – Monmouth U17 – DeRosa ended the first half against PDA with a goal and two assists – and should get some credit for the other goal scored. He provided the service on the free kick that led to the goal. Center back Nathaniel Kerr also had a standout performance for Cedar Stars Academy.
