Pastore is an expert dribbler that can create attacking chances out of thin air. He is always moving, always trying to find a crack in a defense that he can exploit and either deliver a pass to a teammate or hammer a shot on target. The Pipeline SC midfielder was instrumental in Calvert Hall earning their second consecutive MIAA title, their 32 game unbeaten streak, and earning a #2 ranking nationally according to the United Soccer Coaches. He should continue to grow this spring playing for Pipeline SC which should pay huge dividends for Calvert Hall next fall.
Welsh scored the go-ahead goal for Broadneck to help the side advance to the Maryland 3A Regional Final. The 2022 Anne Arundel All-County First Team member was counted upon time and time again to provide an attacking spark and he always seemed to deliver. In terms of his attacking runs, he makes solid diagonal runs at goal on the counter-attack and can always find space in between defenders.
Robbie Gresham
Robbie Gresham
Gresham was the leader of an Eagles side that made it to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference semifinals and played a tough Bishop McNamara side to the limit. He plays both center midfield and also in the defensive midfield and seems generally comfortable leading the side from both positions. On the attack, he scored 5 goals and tallied 8 assists for Good Counsel, showing that he can both create chances for his teammates and also take the lead, when necessary. He was named to the WCAC All-Second Team and should get some excellent experience playing with Armour this spring in MLS Next.
Zander Templeton
Zander Templeton
Templeton earned Frederick County All-County First Team honors after leading the Cadets attack with 9 assists, leading the side to a Maryland 3A Regional Semifinal appearance. He has fantastic vision and can make both the difficult pass in a crowded area and also the passes out wide in open space to teammates. With his 6 goals he also showed that he can create chances for himself, including delivering a clever chip to earn the 2-1 win over Urbana.
Eliot O’Neill
Eliot O’Neill
O’Neil pulled the strings of the Hammond attack this season, moving the Golden Bears from a defensive posture to an attacking one. He switches between defensive midfield and center midfield based upon the opponent, but he is very comfortable either serving as the first line of defense or finding teammates on the counter-attack. This season, he started showing what he can do with a goal-scoring opportunity. If he can continue to work on his finishing at Thunder he should have a solid 2023 high school season.

Leary was the captain for a Resevoir High School side that made the Maryland 3A Regional Finals. The Pipeline midfielder was excellent at both picking out teammates for goal-scoring chances (4 assists) and creating his own shot (team-best 7 goals). His ability to dictate the pace of the match through his passing and patience with the ball makes him a very difficult midfielder to break down.
