Here’s a look at some 2024 grads who impressed in Southeastern Pennsylvania in the fall.
Ava capped off a really impressive 2022 leading Archbishop Wood to a Philadelphia Catholic League title after winning a USYS national title over the summer. DeGeorge’s movement with the ball and patience in the build-up was vital to Wood’s undefeated PCL season. Connecting passes, starting attacks with seeing eye passes and hitting shots from distance is Ava’s MO.
The Inter-AC had a lot of talented senior attackers last fall that won’t be back, leaving Agnes Irwin midfielder Lily Fusco Lily Fusco M Agnes Irwin (PA) | 2024 State PA primed to take the mantle as one of the top seniors next season. Fusco’s ability to find teammates, take defenders on 1v1 and finish even while opponents focus extra attention on her make her an effective and exciting player to watch.
Highlights
Madison is the top ranked player in the 2024 class on Prep Soccer for a reason. She’s a dynamic and skillful player both for Downingtown East and Penn Fusion who can make difficult plays look easy and has an extremely high soccer IQ.
Radnor didn’t have another deep playoff in them this year but Koleth was still very much the focal point of the team as a silky smooth midfielder with a range of ways to create and score goals with and without the ball.
Upper Perkiomen had an incredible ride to the state final in part because of Fisher’s ability in the final third. Even in the loss in the final to Moon, Fisher was a handful who showed that she doesn’t need much space or time on the ball to make an impact.
Aubrey does most of her damage as a left back getting into the attack but her ability to create offense is what her makes her such a valuable player to her team in a spot where few teams have a wing player who can combine the pace, strength, vision and crossing ability.
Highlights
On an extremely talented and young Pennridge team, Croyle was a clear leader on the field anchoring the back line and the type of player who makes those around her better. She’s dangerous in the attack too off set pieces and a clear star on a team with multiple players with star power.
Highlights
Ella is one of those players you really have to see in person to appreciate. She does so many things well as a holding midfielder it’s hard to really focus on just one or two things. She’ll be among the best at her position in the area as a senior at Gwynned Mercy next fall.
Grenda was impressive in the state final game Pennridge fell short in. Her ability with the ball and passing vision created a number of chances for a talented Pennridge team that has a good shot to make it all the way back to Mechanicsburg next fall.
Greta Steege

Steege is one of those players I had to double check was a 2024 grad because she was such a big part of the team’s run to the state title game in 2021. Steege’s experience and her leadership will be key for Conestoga in 2023 as she backstops what should be another tough defensive unit.
For all of the goals the Episcopal Academy attack poured in last fall, their defense was pretty unstoppable too. Magnotta was one of the anchors of that stingy defense and was able to stand out even when she wasn’t under a lot of pressure.
