Episcopal Academy capped another dominant season with an independent schools title and they did it throughout the year with Magnotta as their rock in the back. Smooth and technical, Magnotta does so many things well as a center back her influence on a team is felt throughout the team. The confidence she gives her teammates going forward and the rest of the back line is measurable.

Magnotta’s ability to read plays made her a dominating force on the backline. In fact, the East team played three in the back against a West team that featured four players with 100+ career goals. It didn’t seem to matter. The East shut down every attack, only conceding a goal in the final minute of play in a 3-1 victory. Magnotta, who is heading to Penn State, was effective in stepping in front of West players to break up the play. She starred at Episcopal Academy (Pa.), which has put players in this All-America Game the past two seasons.
