For the Future: Early look at top 2027s from Georgia

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PrepSoccer state player rankings for Georgia's <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2023/03/updated-2026-georgia-girl-rankings/">2026 class were released this week</a>. As part of the scouting process for that class, PrepSoccer scouts saw a number of 2027s. While we don't have rankings for that class yet, there were some players that really stood out from the action. Barber impressed me a lot with her play as an attacking midfielder. She is listed as a midfielder on her player profile, but I also saw her play as a center forward. She could be a weapon in that role too as she is a pressing player with good pace. In the attacking midfield role, she is buzzing around and getting into spots to create advantages for her side. She is better when she doesn't have a defender on her back.
