About Jordynn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A ball playing defender who is good with my feet and in the air. My main focus is to defend, turnover possession and transition to attach either on the ground though the middle, piercing balls down the flanks or carrying the ball up myself.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very determined and professionally aggressive on the field. I enjoy the game and the team aspects of soccer. I want to win and give my all each time to help the team.

Multiple academic awards.

Come back from a few serious injuries. Each time stronger!

What type of college are you looking for?

A larger school preferably in the South of the country. I am looking for an academically strong school as studies are very important to me. I am Looking for a school with a good atmosphere and an inclusive soccer culture.

This Defender has all the physical tools to do big things. She’s fast, strong, and tall. She plays for a TopHat club that enforces playing a very tactical possession style of play which will benefit her game moving forward. She would be wise to stay at the club and develop her technical and tactical acumen. If she does that sky is the limit for this young star.

Gunn is a defender for the Tophat Gold U16/08 GA team. She was one of the players we highlighted last season as a player to watch from the 2027 group. She was a key piece of the team that went on to win a National Championship. Gunn has been excellent this season. She had a strong showing at left center back against Florida United in the Girls Academy league game earlier this month. Tophat has been dominant at that level with a 10-0 record and only four goals conceded. Gunn, individually, impressed with her decision-making on the ball and her ability to progress the ball up the field on the dribble. Gunn is a top defender from this class.
