Kellam solidified their spot at the top of the rankings with a win over undermanned First Colonial and Princess Anne came away with a monumental win against Cox. The Beach, Southeastern, and Eastern districts are all on spring break this upcoming week.

Lafayette moves up a few spots to No. 3 despite not playing and has key matches this week versus Bruton (4-2-0) and No. 17 Tabb.
Princess Anne checks in at No. 4 after defeating No. 5 Cox for the first time in 15 matches. Amy Woodworth scored in the first half and Olivia Braunbeck scored the game winner with nine minutes remaining to lift the Cavaliers to the win.
No. 5 Cox fell to Princess Anne after playing down a girl for 65 minutes. Aniyah Fraser Aniyah Fraser D Frank Cox (VA) | 2024 VA tied the game in the 44th min on a penalty but the Falcons were unable to make it out of the match with a result.
Great Bridge continues their climb through the rankings and sits at No. 6 heading into spring break after taking down No. 9 Smithfield 2-1. Audrey Orrock Audrey Orrock F Great Bridge | 2025 State VA and Ava Gomez both found the net and keeper Lexie Miller turned in a stellar performance in goal to earn “Player of the Game” honors for the Wildcats.
No. 7 Jamestown was on break and will return to action this week with games against Poquoson and Warhill.
Grassfield rebounded after falling to Kellam and First Colonial two weeks ago and posted two impressive wins over No. 9 Smithfield and Currituck County (NC). Katie Dowd Katie Dowd M VA (3G/2A) and Hanna Smith (2G) had big weeks along with Ava Puskas in goal for the Grizzlies. Grassfield checks in at No. 8 and has been in the top ten all season.
No. 9 Smithfield drops after two tough losses to Grassfield and Great Bridge. Kaitlyn Worrell and Katie Lutz Katie Lutz null | M Smithfield (VA) | 2023 VA both netted goals in the losing efforts.
Nansemond River moves into the top ten after easy wins over Booker T. Washington and I.C. Norcom. Gianna Rivera and Carlyn Lindsey both netted braces in the I.C. Norcom match.
No. 11 Norfolk Collegiate had an impressive week winning three matches versus Walsingham, Peninsula Catholic, and Norfolk Christian. Sophie Mathas posted two clean sheets while Jillian Reed scored a late game winner against Walsingham then netted two more goals in the Peninsula Catholic match.
Maury moves up a spot to No. 12 after posting a 5-0 win over rival Granby on goals by Maddie Dixon (2G), Sophia Warburton, Ainsley Mathews-Jamison, and Alana Cunningham. Junior keeper Lili (James Madison University commit) poster her fourth shutout in six games.
No. 13 Norfolk Academy drops out of the top ten after a tough 2-1 loss to Ocean Lakes but rebounded to post a clean sheet win over Peninsula Catholic.
Western Branch was idle and holds at No. 14 in the rankings.
No. 15 Cape Henry Collegiate keeper Maya Harrington had two shutouts in wins over Hampton Roads Academy and Currituck County (NC) while Jillian Somers netted had four goals in the win over Hampton Roads.
Salem continues to be the surprise team of the season and sits at No. 16 after a 3-1 win over Bayside. Harmony Crawford who has been filling up the score sheet, Wynn Cordero and Isabella White found the net for the Sun Devils.
No. 18 Deep Creek is still unbeaten at 5-0-1 after a dominant win over Windsor. Tianna Bell-Santos scored a hat trick and Maggie Paulson added a brace in the win while Olivia McLaughlin and Jordin Thresher combined for the Hornets fourth shutout.
No. 17 Tabb, No. 19 New Kent, and No. 20 York were all idle and will return this week with key Bay Rivers match-ups.
Just outside the top 20: Kings Fork (5-1-0), Bethel (4-1-0) Hickory (2-3-2), Ocean Lakes (2-4-1), Oscar Smith (4-1-0), and Bruton (4-2-0).
