The midfielder from the Crew Academy is now getting opportunities to play up an age group at the MLS Next level. Su was one of the top performances from the Boys ECNL last season as he starred with the Nationals (Michigan). Su moved to Ohio this season and has fit in well with his new club. He is also making noise on the national level, as the talented midfielder was a recently called into the US Youth National Team.
rnAdams is another recent import to Ohio. He had a stellar season at the high school level for Naperville (Illinois) and then joined the Crew academy early in 2023. The MLS Academy has been playing at center forward. He offers a vertical threat with his pace and goal-scoring instincts. He is a player to watch during the summer events.
Sullivan was an all-conference selection in the Boys ECNL last season. The center midfielder has been equally as good this season. A leader for his club team, Sullivan is consistent in his approach. He puts in the effort on both sides of the ball. Strong in the tackle, sharp in the pass, Sullivan stands out immediate from the Boys ECNL level.
Meachem is an attacking midfielder who had a strong freshman season at the high school level. His quick feet helped him navigate around the physical challenges of that level of the game. His soccer smarts put him in the right spots to make an impact. Meachem is also a standout from Boys ECNL as well.
Tortola is another player who made the move from Nationals to Crew during this past offseason. The center midfielder had a number of MLS academies vying for his arrival before he picked Crew. He is a skillful player who is good with either foot. He hasn’t had the same flashy arrival as Su, but he has the potential to be a top prospect in that position in the future.
