A new path forward is the name of the game for the Marin FC Blue 2008 girls team. The team had a combined four wins and draws during ECNL NorCal Division play. The Club has installed Ivan Bandov as the head coach after he previously coached the 06 and 09 teams. He's been successful with those teams as well as making Redwood High a perennial contender.

Bandov will be looking to help a roster that is improving get a few more results in the upcoming season and strive for more consistency. Here are six players that should make an impact and help with that.

Maddie Fuller, Forward, Cardinal Newman, Class of 2026

Fuller will be an important part of the attack and helping the 08 team go forward. She is a player who continues to improve, demonstrating a lot of strength, technical ability and showing the knack for putting away goals.

Julie Fulton, Central Defender, Tamalpais, Class of 2026

Fulton is a left-footed center back and she shows great technical ability. She can read the game very well, demonstrating great instincts and shows the ability to play the ball out of the back.

[player_tooltip player_id='111331' first='Reese' last='Hanna'], Central Midfielder, Marin Academy, Class of 2027

Hanna is what you want in a central mid, showing great intelligence and demonstrating technical skill. Her skill set is wide and balanced and this allows her to influence the game and leave her imprint on the midfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='272280' first='Keira' last='Plunkett'], Defensive Midfielder, San Domenico, Class of 2026

Plunkett is a key player for this group. She is a very competitive holding midfielder, who does well in winning the ball and controlling the game in possession. She is a natural leader, doing so by example, bringing tremendous energy to every match.

Gussie Robbillard, Forward, Saint Ignatius, Class of 2026

Robbillard is a forward who has great skill and demonstrates a great deal of versatility as an attacking player.
