Classes of 2025, 2026 loaded in Texas

There are five players in Texas, four of them entering their junior season, along with a sophomore, who will be players to watch this Fall during the first half of the club season, and then again when the high school season starts in the winter. As we continue looking at 20 names to watch in Texas, here is part three of that series.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepsoccer.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/2023/08/Anna-Darling.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-144488" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: Matt Darling</figcaption></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='26462' first='Anna' last='Darling'], Defensive Midfielder, Boerne, Class of 2025   Darling is a standout player for Boerne High and plays for Texas Classics Elite in San Antonio. She is going into her junior season and should have a very big 2023/2024. What you will get out of Darling is an absolute competitor. There may be some that work as hard, but none work harder. She is a powerful player, often described as a powerhouse. She plays with a relentless pursuit as the holding midfielder, making a big impact in the middle of the pitch. She understands the game and is quite the tactician. As a dynamic, reliable and tough player, she's an ideal No. 6.   [player_tooltip player_id='27198' first='Renata' last='Larracilla'], Attacking Midfielder, The Woodlands, Class of 2025   Another junior, Larracilla attends the Woodlands High School and plays ECNL for Challenge. She is an attacking midfielder who is highly technical, who plays with pace, and can control the ball well when it is at her feet. She sees the game well. Larracilla is tactical and can see moves ahead of others, and anticipates well, allowing her to spot open teammates and exploit gaps in the defense. Because she can manipulate the ball so well, she is in control and can get past defenders and create goal-scoring opportunities. She's also unpredictable so defenders can't rely on a pattern. She is a determined player, a smart player and on top of all of that she is a team-first player. Larracilla is a leader who constantly encourages her teammates, organizes movements and contributes to a cohesive team dynamic.   [player_tooltip player_id='26359' first='Trinity' last='Morken'], Keeper, Prosper, Class of 2025   A keeper out of Prosper, Morken plays club at Solar Soccer Club for the ECNL-RL U18/19 team. She checks all the boxes that you want, mentally, from a keeper. She is determined, likes to compete, works really hard and is coachable. She is reliable, a team player and a leader. She has a ton of confidence between her posts, and for good reason because she has great technical ability and skill. She can stop shots, makes smart decisions, comes off her line quickly and reactively and is not afraid to get a ball in the air.   [player_tooltip player_id='144525' first='Emma' last='Taylor'], Midfielder, Reedy, Class of 2025   Taylor is from Frisco, TX and goes to Reedy High where she will be a junior. She is a midfielder, a position she plays for the FC Dallas 07 ECNL-RL team that qualified for Nationals and finished third out of approximately 200 teams. Taylor is a very athletic midfielder who is incredibly versatile as she has abilities to join the attack or by sending through balls through the middle of the pitch or up the touch line. Because she is a versatile midfielder who contributes to both sides of the ball, she understands defensive responsibilities and will help her teammates defend. Taylor is an extremely coachable player.   [player_tooltip player_id='92536' first='Carson' last='Walter'], Forward, Texas A&M Consolidated, Class of 2026   Walter is from College Station, TX and goes to Texas A&M Consolidated, or "Consol" as it is known to those in the area. She plays club for the Challenge 2007 ECNL team. Walter is an impact forward who plays with a high-intensity and really likes to compete. She has an excellent ability to score goals, and has the ability to pick a pass and put it in a precise spot. She sees the game well, displaying a high soccer IQ. She can play physically and is extremely coachable.
