Continue ReadingCurrently ranked #3 in her state, Dalke was outstanding in ECNL play and eventually won the Midwest Conference U15 MVP. She plays with great vision and knows how to get the job done anywhere on the pitch. She did just that in ECNL play and made a huge impact.
She plays up two years on the U17 level and was nothing but sensational this summer. Also winning Midwest Conference MVP. Pfeiffer is a true game changer who makes everyone around her better. I’m a big fan of the plays she creates for both herself and her teammates. Future is extremely bright.
Highlights
This Tennessee commit is one of the top prospects coming out of the Kansas City area. Playing in the Midfield, she won an ECNL title in 2021 and was invited to a USYNT camp. Smith is a big playmaker in the midfield with a confident strike and great control around the ball. She can also make plays in a winger or forward role if necessary.
Birkel is an elite all-around goalie who’s committed to Stanford. For SLSG Navy, she was a first-team all conference player who excelled in ECNL events all over the country. Birkel is a big time shot stopper who comes up with huge saves when called upon. More importantly, she’s super consistent and rarely conceded goals throughout ECNL play. She also plays well with her feet and has great chemistry with her teammates. Something very important and overlooked in finding a good goalkeeper.
Mary Long Mary Long null | F Shawnee Mission East | 2024 #31 Nation MO is another game-changer in her class who’s made an impact for whatever team she’s on. She scored six goals in one weekend this summer for Slammers and displayed a ton of skills to go along with that. Long always seems to make the right runs into the box and makes difficult finishes look easy. She recently committed to playing for Duke.
She’s a talented #6 who make plays all over the field. I really like her confidence in 1v1 situations. She also shows great control and loves to play quick. Her first team All-Midwest honors at the U16 level should boost her stock in the 2025 class.
