FRISCO, TX: There was a compelling ECNL central vs north Texas matchup for the 08 boys on Saturday as San Antonio FC made the trip up to Toyota Soccer Complex to take on FC Dallas White. FC Dallas came out on top 3-0 thanks to a goal from Tommy Castaneda and a brace from the player of the game, [player_tooltip player_id='16523' first='Matthew' last='Zilinskas']. This was one of those matches with a final score that didn't truly reflect what a battle it was. Both clubs played well and created quality chances, but the difference was the efficiency FC Dallas had in front of goal. This article will highlight the players who had standout performances in the match.

[player_tooltip player_id='16523' first='Matthew' last='Zilinskas'] is a tall, fast, and talented center back who can also be a key goal scorer. Matthew played a massive part in his team's victory at both ends of the field. His vertical, tall frame, and great heading make him dominant in the air and a major threat on attacking set pieces. He can lock down attackers, time his tackles well, and doesn't make mistakes at the back. The thing that sets Matthew apart from other center backs is how productive he is on the offensive end, which he proved by netting the first two goals in their 3-0 win. The impressive quality he showed in front of goal was better than a lot of strikers.

[player_tooltip player_id='226585' first='Brian' last='Guevara'] is a versatile forward who can also play in the midfield. His touch combined with the strength to hold off defenders and keep possession allows him to be successful as a target forward. He is also a skilled dribbler who can turn and beat defenders with ease. Brian can play in the midfield, but is at his best when playing up front.

[player_tooltip player_id='90389' first='Sebastian' last='Seiterle'] is a big, athletic, and strong player who can excel in multiple positions. He made plays all over the field and could be successful as a defender, midfielder, or forward. He is a very physical player who uses his size and strength well to win 50/50 challenges when defending. When playing as an attacker, Sebastian isn't afraid to go at defenders with the ball, and has the passing and shooting abilities to be dangerous in the final third.

[player_tooltip player_id='90421' first='Blake' last='Willingham'] is an intelligent and tough center back. He has a high soccer IQ and makes great decisions at the back and when on the ball. His athleticism gives him the ability to chase down and quickly close out attackers. Blake is excellent with his tackling and his willingness to go into challenges that other players would think twice about, showing how tough he is.

Andrew Gomez is a technical midfielder with great vision and excellent passing. He is good on the ball and plays with a lot of creativity. His knack for picking the right passes and ability to thread balls through tight spaces makes him very dangerous in the final third.

Clint Hurst is an athletic goal keeper that showed up big for his FC Dallas team in their win. He made several key saves in the second half to avoid letting San Antonio back in the game. His athleticism allows him to make impressive acrobatic saves. Clint is one of the better keepers out there when it comes to 1v1 situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='226585' first='Brian' last='Guevara'], Forward/idfielder, San Antonio ECNL B08, 2026

[player_tooltip player_id='90389' first='Sebastian' last='Seiterle'], Midfielder, San Antonio ECNL B08, 2026

[player_tooltip player_id='90421' first='Blake' last='Willingham'], Center Back, San Antonio ECNL B08, 2026

Andrew Gomez, Midfielder, FC Dallas ECNL White B08-

Clint Hurst, Goal Keeper, FC Dallas ECNL White B08, 2026

Tommy Castaneda, Midfielder, FC Dallas ECNL White B08-

[player_tooltip player_id='16523' first='Matthew' last='Zilinskas'], Center Back, FC Dallas ECNL White B08, 2027
