All four of these players are standouts in terms of the effort they put in, as well as the skills they possess.
Dillyet Benyam Dillyet Benyam D South Torrance | 2025 CA , Outside Defender, Class of 2025
Benyam is a Torrance High player, who also plays for the LA Breakers 2007 ECNL-RL team. She is an outside back. Benyam is a very, very focused and determined player who plays with drive and plays with passion. She defends with energy and gusto, she can get up and down the pitch with tenacity. She is a vocal player, a passionate player and she plays for her team above all others.
Sierra Cordola Sierra Cordola 5'7" | GK William S. Hart | 2025 CA , Keeper, Class of 2025
Cordola is a keeper at Hart High in Southern California, where she is a junior and she plays ECNL at her club, which is Eagles SC. What stands out about Cordola is how instinctual she is. She sees plays unfolding before her, and she is able to react quickly to take away an angle, or react to a ball in the air. She makes quick decisions on when to come for the ball. She plays with a physical toughness, playing with bravery and without fear, and plays with a mental toughness. A positive teammate, Cordola communicates will with her defenders which keeps everybody on the same page.
Amelia Ralph Amelia Ralph 5'10" | D Flintridge Prep | 2027 State #123 Nation CA , Central Defender, Class of 2027
Ralph is a central defender with excellent physical skills which include the ability to pick a pass, showing great vision, and can place that pass with accuracy. She is also a defender who shows situational awareness and the speed to track back and recover when needed. She is tall, so she has good size, and she is also very strong in the air. She communicates well and does a great job keeping the back line organized. Ralph is a freshman at Flintridge Prep High and plays club for LA Surf.
Alexa Salazar Alexa Salazar M CA , Midfielder, Class of 2025
Salazar is a midfielder from the East Bay, playing high school at Acalanes High in Lafayette, and plays her club down in San Jose with De Anza Force. She is uncommitted but is on the radar for college coaches. What they see is a technical box-to-box midfielder who shows great vision on the attacking side, and shows grit on the defensive side. Salazar works very, very hard and plays with toughness and with a relentlessness. She is strong, physical and absolutely plays without fear. She has been an impact player for Acalanes since she was a freshman.
