Aalona spent most of the first half as a right wingback and displayed great energy to go up and down the field and great ability to beat opponents off the dribble and make plays. In the second half, she was pushed closer to the goal, playing up top, and responded with a pair of left-footed goals, the first in an inch-perfect long-distance shot and the second by completing a quick transition play with power. She displayed great ability to pass, dribble and finish with either foot and played with great energy, covering a lot of ground.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6577f160701f1"} /-->

The junior was very composed and consistent during the entire match and was very clean in possession, breaking lines extremely well under pressure and finding long passes when in transition. She had a lot of freedom to move around the field and was excellent at finding pockets of space to get on the ball. The senior would at times drop deeper to attempt long passes and, on other occasions, move to wider positions to get on the ball and beat opponents off the dribble. She communicated very well with her teammates and helped keep the backline organized. Playing primarily as a left back, she held her own on most occasions, reading the game well to anticipate plays. Although not super tall or physical, Medrano played hard and managed to get several tackles. The freshman worked hard defensively, covering a lot of ground, but had a hard time against an opponent that had several talented players on offense.
