Eight of the 11 players on this list are college bound, and two of the three not committed are a junior and a sophomore. The talent in and around San Francisco is rich on the girls side. Here are the Best XI from this area.

KEEPER: There are many good keepers in this region, and sadly it could only come down to one and that is UCLA-bound senior Layla Armas from California High in San Ramon. She is a physical keeper, who is athletic and quick on her feet, she stops shots, makes great saves and is strong in coming for the ball.

DEFENDERS: This group of three includes Daniela Aceves of St. Ignatius, Chloe Casselman from Carondelet and [player_tooltip player_id='82886' first='Sadie' last='Leal-Schuman'] from Miramonte. The latter is just a sophomore, but she is a prodigious talent with future Diablo Athletic League MVP (she was first team this year) and Division I scholarship written all over her. She is fast, technically gifted to go with being versatile and dynamic. Aceves is going to Cal State Bakersfield to continue playing. She is a defender who is comfortable on the ball, can pick a pass and deliver it with precision and she is a fierce defender. She made the West Catholic Athletic League's first team. Casselman is a Loyola Marymount commit. She was first-team all East Bay Athletic League, she was the heart and soul of the defense as she is a hard-worker, a physical defender and a talented player.

MIDFIELDERS: [player_tooltip player_id='19905' first='Maylen' last='Montoya'], the junior from Amador Valley, has not committed yet, but she was selected as the MVP of the EBAL which is quite an honor as it is an excellent league. She has been an important part of the Dons midfield since she was a freshman. [player_tooltip player_id='20043' first='Paige' last='Thompson'], the Las Lomas player and Alabama commit, is also a junior. She is a special player who can do it all. She can score, she can defend, she can possess and she plays the game with calm and with ease. Bella Pierotti from Monte Vista is a fluid player, who is graceful but is not afraid to do the dirty work in the midfield. She is an all-everything midfielder and is heading to Oklahoma State. [player_tooltip player_id='51787' first='Maren' last='Jones'], from Tamalpais High, is heading to Tufts. She is very well-rounded, but is particularly a standout with scoring the ball. She is an explosive No. 10 who can create, use both feet and is very unselfish in addition to being someone who can finish.

FORWARDS: Bella Ong kicks off the analysis for the forwards as the UC Santa Barbara bound attacker had an amazing year for the Bay Counties League, North Coast Section and Northern California champions. She had 33 goals and 22 assists on the season, and is a very versatile player who can play across the top. She is good at operating in space, she is clever with the ball and is a deadly finisher. Ella Beardsley of San Ramon Valley was a key player for a team that won the NCS Division I title, playing as both a forward and a No. 10 as she was heavily relied on to create and score. She was first team All-EBAL. As was [player_tooltip player_id='20326' first='Victoria' last='Alessandrini'] of Carondelet, who is bound for Pepperdine. She is a force up top as she makes plays, can change the game and can put goals away.
