Though his team didn’t fare well in the match, Rios stood out to me with his work rate and movement up top even if his chances were limited. Shifty on the ball and solid in pressure, there’s a lot to like about Rios.

Andy Slavov
Old Line FC 2007 Boys had a great run through the weekend and while I was only able to catch part of one of their games Slavov was a player who was humming in central midfield, playing balls to teammates, beating defenders on the half turn and combining with attackers in the final third.

Andrew Marino
Marino was a joy to watch in Radnor’s run to a district title in the fall and it’s no different seeing him play with his club team. He’s on the ball a lot and makes things happen.

Justin Hussett
Justin was doing a little bit of everything in Triboro’s match against VE. Muscling off attackers in defense, springing counter attacks going the other way. He impressed me with his strength and versatility.
Chase Young

VE had a nice battle in a 1-1 draw with Triboro SC and a lot of those battles were won in the midfield by Young, who showed a lot of strength on 50-50 balls and setting up teammates in transition.
