<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's crunch time in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) high school soccer season as over the next weekend we'll know the four teams in Division 6A that will get to compete at the State Tournament, in Georgetown, from April 10-13.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After advancing three rounds in the playoffs, four teams in each region remain alive, but just one of them will earn the right to play for the state title in just over a week. The qualified teams will emerge from the four Regional Tournaments that will take place around the Lone Star State between Friday and Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we prepare for a critical couple of days in the high school soccer season, let's preview each of the four Regional Tournaments, now looking at Region 2.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Teams:</strong> Rockwall (Rockwall), Tomball (Tomball), Tomball Memorial (Tomball) and Wylie East (Wylie)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Kelly Reeves Complex</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Rockwall</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lady Jackets were the top team in District 10 with an undefeated campaign of 12 wins. Rockwall continued in impeccable form in the playoffs, progressing with victories over Naaman Forest in bi-district, Mansfield in the area round and Sachse in the regional quarterfinals. Tomball's postseason campaign had victories over Cypress Woods in bi-district, College Park in the area around and Klein in the regional quarterfinals. In the playoffs, they came out on top of duels with Langham Creek (bi-district), Grand Oaks (area round) and Bridgeland (regional quarterfinals) to make it to the regional tournament. They managed to keep their pace in the postseason, getting wins over Rockwall-Heath in bi-district, Lake Ridge in the area round and Wylie in the regional quarterfinals.
