Prep Soccer Releases Updated Boys 2026 National Rankings

The new rankings reflect scouting efforts at various club and high school soccer events over the past year. The arduous process of updating the rankings led to feedback from all the Prep Soccer scouts, as well as scouts from other levels of the game. Players who have signed professional contracts are included in the Watch List, but not the rankings. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Los Angeles FC midfielder and US Youth National Team standout [player_tooltip player_id='80800' first='Jude' last='Terry'] remains the No. 1 player in the class. Terry is currently one of the top players in California and plays with the LAFC U17 as well as trains with LAFC 2. He has appeared in two MLS Next Pro games this season for LAFC 2.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>New England Revolution Academy midfielder Cristian Oliviera is the No. 2 player in the updated rankings. Oliviera continues to impress against his peers at the club level and he has recently been getting opportunities to play against professional players in MLS Next Pro for New England Revolution II. The 16-year-old has made four appearances this season with two starts. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Philadelphia Union attacking standouts Jamir Johnson is No. 3 in the National Rankings. Johnson had a stellar showing at the Generation adidas event this year.
