Being versatile has a lot of advantages for players. It allows you to see the pitch if a coach needs to change tactics, making a player more indispensable. It also allows a player to use the knowledge acquired in one position and apply it to another level of the pitch, having gained insight into what players and teams do. These players from Pennsylvania are incredibly versatile.

[player_tooltip player_id='156991' first='Marina' last='Hajnosz'], Attacking Midfielder/Forward, Class of 2027

Hajnosz is a rising sophomore at Peters Township High and plays club for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 2009 ECNL team. She's a No. 10 who plays with pace and power. She comes at you fast, forces you to make a decision and is agile enough to cut the other way once you've committed. She spots weaknesses well and takes full advantage of them. She has a powerful shot outside the box when she decides to have a go on her own, and she plays great balls to her teammates in the wide areas.

Meea Irwin, Forward/Attacking Midfielder, Class of 2026

Irwin is an attacker, and an all-around player. She mostly features as a No. 11 or a No. 10, but she can use both feet, so she can play as a No. 7 as well. The Warren Area High player is quite a standout, and she also plies her trade with Erie FC. She is incredibly strong in several areas. She has an ability to read the game and anticipate. She has an ability to read her opponents and she is able to make decisions that are strategically sound because of this. She is also very gifted technically, showing an ability to control the ball, deliver a perfectly weighted ball and possess without being knocked of the ball. She is creative as she has flair and agility. She is completely dedicated to the game, working hard on the pitch and off as she commutes quite a long way for training. She is taking responsibility to improve in certain areas, like her shooting accuracy, and is taking on more responsibility and is being accountable. Incredibly, Irwin has scored 64 goals in her first two high school seasons.

Elah-Grace Konkle, Central Midfielder/Central Defender, Class of 2029

Konkle is a 2010 GA player with Century United, and is a student at Warwood Middle School.
