[player_tooltip player_id='83483' first='Grace' last='Ae'], LAFC

Ae is one of the quickest, most athletic keepers you will find in the class of 2026 in California. She is lightning fast and because of that she is able to cover just about any shot, no matter what distance it is taken from, and her reactions and anticipation make her incredibly hard to beat. You simply do not see many keepers with her athleticism, ability and anticipation often. She plays bravely, she plays strongly and she is a leader.

[player_tooltip player_id='82570' first='Makenna' last='August'], Legends FC

August, the Legends FC and Temecula Valley keeper, is an energetic, passionate keeper who prevents goals well because she reads attackers well. She understands positioning and how even the slightest shift can help her get to a shot or close an angle. A great leader who really commands her box, August makes big saves in big moments and lives for pressure-packed situations. She's a great weapon to help build from the back as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='83757' first='Addison' last='Bartell'], De Anza Force

Bartell is a very brave keeper who puts her body on the line with regularity. She comes out on corners and free kicks and comes out aggressively for balls played into the box as well. When it comes to shot stopping, she closes down angles quickly, comes out to put pressure on the attacker and dares them to shoot before they have made up their mind. She has good size, so she covers a good amount of space, and she reacts quickly to shots from close range. She's comfortable with the ball at her feet and it shows in her distribution.

Josie "JB" Biehl, San Diego Surf

Biehl is as good an all-around keeper as you will see in California. She seems to do everything really, really well. Not often with a keeper will you start by talking about distribution, but she likes to get the ball and transition very quickly. She has a very accurate and quick throw, and is also very comfortable with the ball at her feet. She gets off her line quickly, will stick her nose in harm's way and be disruptive once an attacker is in her area. She stops shots with the best of them, has great athleticism and shows very speedy reaction times.

[player_tooltip player_id='19134' first='Aubrey' last='McLin'], Davis Legacy

McLin has been a top keeper in Northern California since she was a freshman, and now entering her junior season in the fall, she is one of the top keepers in the entire state. The Davis Legacy and Davis High keeper is incredibly active, aggressive and passionate. She plays hard, she truly has the desire to stop every shot and to take every cross and set piece. She has very quick reactions on shots rifled into the box, and she has strong hands, not punching the ball very often. She has a very strong leg as her long kick can cover two-thirds of the pitch, and she's very good about the ball on the ground, too.
