<p>The Lamorinda SC 2012 team was given their pathway to the Girls Academy last season, and the results show that the team is ready to make the full-time move to GA in 2024/2025. They played in eight tournaments, making the final in all eight of them and winning six of them. </p>

<p>They won the Davis Legacy Summer Classic, they won the IR Academy Fall Cup, the San Juan Presidents Cup, the Albion Cup, the Phoenix Cup and the USYS State Cup. They also won the Davis Summer Girls Showcase recently.</p>

<p>They were runners up at the USYS Farwest Regional and at the MVLA Winter Cup. They ended up as the seventh ranked NPL team in the country. </p>

<p>The team, led by head coach Luis Pinto, is excited to get this season under way and prove they are ready to compete right away on the GA scene. </p>

<p>They have a talented roster, and here are some of the players that will lead the way next year for Lamorinda.</p>

<p>Natalie Bode, Defender</p>

<p>Bode is a defender with great ball and foot skills. She can possess and build from the back and carry the ball up the pitch. She is a very crafty player with good technical skills and on top of that she shows great decision making.</p>

<p>Boey Brooks, Forward</p>

<p>Brooks likes to get into the box and get on the end of a cross. She is not afraid to leave her feet and go for a ball in the air. She is great scoring with her head, but can score with her feet as well. She is a resilient player who fights for every ball and never gives up on a play.</p>

<p>Irenlynn Donohue, Forward</p>

<p>Donohue is a wide forward that can play on either side because she is equally talented with her right and left feet. She can deliver great crosses from either side. She can also put a shot on target from tough angles with either foot. She is a technical player who also makes great decisions. </p>

<p>Isabella Guardado, Keeper</p>

<p>Guardado is great with her feet and she fits in with the style that Lamorinda likes to play, which is possess the ball and build from the back. She's also a great shot stopper and excelled in the penalty shootout at the Phoenix Cup.</p>

<p>Adelyn Hassan, Midfielder</p>

<p>Hassan is a very crafty player who is fast on her feet and displays terrific technical skills. She has an uncanny ability to see a play develop before she makes it and then the vision and passing ability to execute it.</p>

<p>Olivia Holmgren, Defender</p>

<p>Holmgren is the leader of the defense and the captain, and she has earned that title. She shows a lot of grit and resilience in how hard she works and her effort is something others strive for. She is a big presence in the back as she is a very solid defender.</p>

<p>Dahlia Hutchins, Forward</p>

<p>Hutchins is a captain and she is the team's leading scorer. She has a lot of strength to handle defenders and the speed to get in behind. She is almost unstoppable 1v1. She also shows a lot of grit, a lot of fight and is a true leader.</p>

<p>Heyab Ocbai, Midfielder</p>

<p>Ocbai is a very strong player who is physical and likes to get stuck in. She is a smart player as well, showing a maturity to her game. She looks for combination plays and is great with both of her feet.</p>
