This group of seven keepers from Texas flash great athleticism, but also show that they are not going to sit back and wait for the game to be brought to them. They play with heart and aggressiveness, showing the ability to make life hard on attacking players.

[player_tooltip player_id='176492' first='Leila' last='Agbetuyi'], FC Dallas, Class of 2027

Agbetuyi is not a passive keeper whatsoever. She is aggressive and proactive as she is very decisive and comes for the ball quickly. She is quick to close down angles as she never wants things to be easy for the striker. She shows athleticism in how she controls her body, she stops shots well and she looks comfortable distributing the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='191528' first='Camille' last='Barrett'], Solar SC, Class of 2028

Barrett is very advanced for a keeper who is just entering her freshman year. She shows quick reaction and covers her goal really well because she anticipates. She is fast and athletic, with good ability to stop shots that are point blank or from distance. She positions herself really well and reads the game very well for a young keeper.

Fulks is a Hardin-Simmons University commit and they are getting a keeper who is all business when she's between her posts. She is a very commanding keeper, one who shows a competitive drive and spirit. She flashes her plus athleticism when someone tries to bury a shot in the roof or the upper V as she shows good coverage and good reaction time. She makes smart decisions, and makes them quickly as she knows when to come out for a ball and when to stay back and close down an angle. Fulks is very calm and poised but plays with great energy.

[player_tooltip player_id='62298' first='Addison' last='Huber'], DKSC, Class of 2025

Huber is coming off of a knee injury, and is working her way back as you can see her on her X page. Huber is fun to watch because she is absolutely fearless as a keeper and the soccer community will be better when she's back on the pitch. She shows so much bravery when coming out on corners and set pieces and puts her body on the line. She has great hands, so when she stops a shot she doesn't always have to punch and she rarely spills a ball. She gets vertical quickly, covers her posts well and then she is quick to start transition with her distribution.

[player_tooltip player_id='158530' first='Sophia' last='Lipari'], Challenge SC, Class of 2026

Lipari makes the athletic save look really easy. When you watch her play or see her film, some saves may not look difficult but that's only because she makes them look easy. She is a masterclass of making difficult saves as she is so quick to react that she covers a lot of what other keepers cannot. She is a very smart keeper, reading the game well, making good decisions and flashing athleticism on balls sent into the area.

[player_tooltip player_id='160249' first='Avery' last='Owen'], HTX, Class of 2026

Owen has all the traits you are looking for out of a keeper. She positions herself well and reads and reacts. She has very good hands, shows that she is comfort with the ball at her feet and distributes well. She stops shots. She does it all. Where she really stands out is taking the game to the attackers, and not sitting back and waiting for it. She commands her box, she comes for the ball with bravery and determination and if it goes near her, she swallows it up. She's an all-around keeper with a fierceness that is needed to succeed.

Bry Russell, Dallas Texans, Class of 2024

Russell recently played her last ECNL game (making a save against Solar SC, mind you) and she is heading off to play at Alabama State. She is a keeper who comes up with big saves in the big moments and this will be helpful in the college game. Her ability to lead will translate well also, as she is a vocal keeper and a natural leader. She covers up and down really well, and gets vertical quickly as she is a good shot stopper and she also works well with the ball at her feet. Her positioning is something that will work well for her at the next level.
