[player_tooltip player_id='54270' first='Ashley' last='Haver'], Central Midfielder, Santa Cruz Breakers

Haver plays at a not-so well-known club at a school not known for being a soccer powerhouse as she plays for her local team in Santa Cruz, the Breakers, and plays at Scotts Valley High. She is a central midfielder that can control the pitch, handles the flow of the game well as she understands when to push and when to slow and she also possesses goal-scoring capabilities to go along with her vision and passing ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='179770' first='Katarina' last='Pinero'], Midfielder, SoCal Blues

Pinero can play all three midfield spots well, but features mainly as a No. 6 or a No. 10. When she's playing as a No. 10, she really likes to express herself and get down the pitch, and when you see her play you can see how dynamic she is, because she can exploit the middle of the pitch or play along the outside. She maneuvers so well in traffic, and she finishes neatly, cooly and can score from close range or from distance. She is a tremendous passer with great vision, as she can pick a spot and one-time a pass into space, anticipating a teammate will be in that area. She's also a very physical, tough-minded No. 6 who fights for the ball and likes to win possession.

[player_tooltip player_id='19742' first='Kylie' last='Secoda'], Midfielder, Legends FC

Secoda is a Butler commit and the Legends FC is the consummate professional in the midfield. She can really facilitate and pick the right spots to move the ball to. She shows good patience and vision to go along with good skills on the ball. She moves well into space and patrols the midfield, always remaining alert.

[player_tooltip player_id='137648' first='Lauren' last='Stevens'], Defensive Midfielder, San Diego Surf

Stevens is committed to play at Penn, and she is a relentless, ball-winning No. 6. She pressures attackers and forces mistakes, and when she gets on the ball she looks to move the other way quickly. She can carry, but seems at her best when she makes a quick pass after attracting some attention. And she's very good about operating on the ball under pressure, freeing up space for her teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='54528' first='Nadia' last='Young'], Midfielder, Lamorinda United

Young will be playing next year at Dartmouth, and is a versatile midfielder who can feature at the No. 6 and No. 10 spots. Regardless of what spot she is in, what she does very well when the team is on attack is trail the play and fill a dangerous spot behind the play. If the ball finds her, she's ready to hit it and she has a great shot from range. She's also excellent about dispossessing someone in the midfield and transitioning quickly, either with a pass or on the dribble. She is an excellent receiver of the ball, and facilitates the ball so well. She's got great midfield vision.
