It's never too late to start thinking about the next wave of players to make a big jump and get into the rankings. With the club season back in full swing, here are five players who have the ability to make a big move.

[player_tooltip player_id='83784' first='Inara' last='Inesi'], Midfielder/Forward, Mustang SC

Inesi is an all-out attacking player who features as a No. 10 and plays both wide forward positions. She is tremendous at threading the needle and playing a through ball, splitting defenders and putting it right at a runner's feet. She can do so from the middle of the pitch, or cut in from her outside spot and deliver a beautifully played ball on the floor. She can use either foot, and she shows great technical and athletic ability with the ball. She is creative and clever, and she is also very spatially aware as she finds herself in the right spots to be dangerous and can finish when given the opportunity.

Evie Spengler, Central Defender, Rebels SC

Spengler might be as well-rounded of a defender as you will find. She recently made the jump to ECNL, and is showing that she is a high-level player. She can really do it all. In seeing her play, it is impressive how well she possesses the ball and how clever she can be when on the ball. She stops and starts well and is very poised, and can carry the ball if needed. She can also pick a pass, showing great ability to drop a long ball at the feet of a teammate. She also breaks lines with perfectly threaded through balls on the floor. In terms of her defending, she shows wonderful instincts. She knows when to step to the ball and does not get caught out of position by doing so. She gets her timing right on tackles and is bold in making those tackles, even in the box. She has tremendous speed and can keep up with attackers, is very physical with them as she does not back down from a fight.

[player_tooltip player_id='78505' first='Skylar' last='Watts'], Defender, CFA Brasil

Watts is a tremendous athlete with tremendous speed and endurance, as she is a cross country star as well at her high school, which is Trabuco Hills. She is a tough 1v1 defender who has good size and that lends to her having good strength and physicality. She is so fast and athletic that she can make slide tackles while tracking back and she can get them right. She is an athletic defender that can possess the ball and distribute.

[player_tooltip player_id='19489' first='Hannah' last='Werdel'], Defensive Midfielder, Slammers HBK

Werdel covers a lot of ground at the No. 6 spot, and takes on a lot of defensive responsibility. She is incredibly strong and physical as she can be an attacking players worst nightmare. She is dogged in her pursuit of the ball and relentless in her ability to pressure. She displays great anticipation, always seeming to position herself well which is very disruptive to an opponent's attack. She can also help her team transition quickly as she is good on the ball, decisive and incredibly accurate in her distribution. She has a high work rate and is not afraid to push up and express herself.

Josephine Willis, Forward, San Diego Surf

Willis is a Michigan State commit who is an exceptional wide forward as the left-footed player features as the No. 11 for San Diego Surf. She is incredibly technical, and even though she has great speed, she could make defenders miss even if she didn't because of how smooth and precise her movements are. She's clever and crafty, she creates separation from defenders exceptionally and she delivers one of the best crosses into the area you will see. She has exceptional vision as she can play it on the ground or in the air and put it right int a space where an attacking player will be.

It's never too late to start thinking about the next wave of players to make a big jump and get into the rankings. With the club season back in full swing, here are five players who have the ability to make a big move.
