Three matches were played at the same hour, each with its own entertainment. Next, <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/nc/franklinville/providence-grove-patriots/soccer/">Providence Grove High School (4)</a> received and beat <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/nc/ramseur/eastern-randolph-wildcats/soccer/">Eastern Randolph High School (5)</a> in an exhilarating 6-4 match. Finally, <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/nc/asheboro/uwharrie-charter-eagles/soccer/">Uwharrie Charter (5)</a> beat <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/nc/trinity/wheatmore-warriors/soccer/">Wheatmore High School (6)</a> 4-0 at home. Once again, his dribbling is what impressed the most. A tall wide player isn't too common today, but Riley seems to be an exception. Technically and physically capable, he doesn't seem to be hindered by his height. He's agile and is not afraid to show off his skills either. He also is a great captain, sticking up for his teammates from beginning to end. Another great performance as a false 9, he rarely puts a foot wrong on the pitch. This match forced him to sacrifice himself more in midfield, which did not bother him. He helped spearhead attacks, especially in counterattacks. He tops off a great performance with a fantastic scissor kick after a wonderful solo play by Mario Martinez to make it 1-0.
