California 2027's who could climb in the rankings update

The California boys 2027 rankings update is coming soon, and that means players will be making leaps. There are some players who stand out that could be making a jump, and we will take a look at some of them here.    Moran Ruano is absolutely lethal in the technical area. He has such great touch and ball control that he can operate in tight spaces, beat defenders in those areas and slot a ball home. He's a tremendous finisher, he's excellent on the ball and shows great instincts off the ball. He can turn a defender, he can use his speed to get past them and I have seen him tie a defender in knots. Watch for this Strikers FC forward to take a leap in the 2024/2025 season.     Holliday is certainly an underrated player who deserves a bump in the rankings. He is quite an athlete, a very hard-worker and has a great outlook on playing the game. He is very fast, but also shows great agility and quickness. His ability to cut back, to switch feet and to stop and start will lead to defenders getting put in a blender or flying right by him. He shows great anticipation, too, seeming to read play well and knowing where to be in order to be in the best position to be ready to score. He's a very good finisher as she just doesn't seem to miss when he gets an opportunity.     Trelles is the rare blend of talent, hard-work and understanding of the game. He has such a mind for the game as he sees several moves ahead and operates in the midfield as such. You can see him pulling the strings and making things go for his team. He's exceptionally skilled on the ball, showing the ability to carry the ball, to beat defenders and to make runs into space, and he also has incredible passing range, accuracy and vision. He understands space well, not just in terms of occupying it, but even more so in terms of where to play the ball.     Torres is a player who is a calming, steady influence in the back. He's not rushed, he's not panicked, as he always seems to be in control. He's composed on the ball as he possesses very well, he moves the ball with precision and accuracy and can push forward with the ball at his feet. He's a ball-wining defender, one who is physical and strong but does not over-commit. He knows when to step and when to play the man in front of him. He's great in the air and a tremendous tackler. Torres is the kind of all-around defender teams want.     Williams is a true up-and-comer in the 2027 class as the forward is poised for a big year with the Earthquakes and at the Branson School. Williams is a great athlete with good agility and an ability to create. He's a willing runner as he works hard in trying to beat defenders and loosen the defense. He finds pockets of space to work in and is great moving off the ball and even better when he has the ball at his feet.
