Six California players ready for the winter season

She can bring the ball down with a soft touch, she can turn a defender and when she runs into trouble, she shows great agility, footwork and ball control to maintain possession, then can make a smart and accurate pass to a player making a run. From there, Kirby makes a run off that pass, finds space and is a threat to score. She is so quick and nimble, and she shows great creativity with her ability to step over, to feint or to just outright juke defenders. She's terrific effort in going forward from the midfield spot, really doing so with conviction. She makes well-timed runs up the side, and is very good at deciding when to send in a cross or when to cut in. She combines well, showing great instincts in terms of when to overlap or underlap. You can see that she works well with her teammates.
