Elite Frontier Conference Goalkeepers at the GA Winter Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> The top teams in the Girls Academy League will head to Norco, California, over the next few days for the league's annual winter showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The SilverLakes Sports Complex will host matches from December 5-9, generating exciting duels between some of the league's best teams and plenty of opportunities for prospects to showcase their talent against elite-level competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Frontier Conference, which features teams from Texas, Missouri and Louisiana, will be strongly represented in the event, featuring many promising prospects, who will be closely followed by those in attendance. A goalkeeper with an impressive ability to read the game and tremendous reflexes, she's very difficult to beat between the posts. Scoring on Douglas in 1v1 situations is no easy task either because she's determined when stepping up to challenge opponents and does an excellent job of taking options away from them with how she places her body and is very quick to react. A very technical and intelligent goalkeeper, she uses her excellent positioning between the posts and inside the penalty box to make critical interventions for her side. Flores is not very tall, but is extremely explosive and athletic, which allows her to get to balls not many other players in the position would. She also communicates well with her backline and makes sure everyone is engaged and knows what to do on defense. She doesn't hesitate when she needs to make a decision and that split-second typically gives her the edge in terms of getting to the ball first or making a stop. Bracamonte is very agile and explosive between the posts and often makes impressive saves in short-distance finishes - she's also an elite penalty kick stopper.
