GA Winter Showcase: Stud center backs from Frontier Conference

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The top teams in the Girls Academy League will head to Norco, California, over the next few days for the league's annual winter showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The SilverLakes Sports Complex will host matches from December 5-9, generating exciting duels between some of the league's best teams and plenty of opportunities for prospects to showcase their talent against elite-level competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Frontier Conference, which features teams from Texas, Missouri and Louisiana, will be strongly represented in the event, featuring many promising prospects, who will be closely followed by those in attendance. She forms an extremely solid center back duo with [player_tooltip player_id='149758' first='Lucy' last='Savala'] as the two complement each other extremely well. The tallest of the two, Miller is dominant in the air, clearing crosses and intercepting long balls, while also appearing well in the opposing penalty box in attacking set pieces. Miller is also very mobile and always steps up efficiently to cover her teammates. She's very good at using her size to dominate opponents inside and around the penalty box, but also has the skills and the mobility to defend in space. One of the keys to her defensive stability is her ability to consistently find the best solutions to plays and avoid overcomplicating things. HTX have many options at center back, but Katz is probably the most well-rounded of them, excelling in several areas of the game. A track and field student-athlete, she's extremely athletic and can handle both pacey wingers and physical strikers efficiently. She plays aggressively to regain possession and is very quick to cover space.
