Kansas Rush uncommitted standouts head to GA showcase

Kansas Rush is one of the best Girls Academy programs in the country, and the 2006/2007 already has 16 players committed already, including highly regarded players such as [player_tooltip player_id='25394' first='Hailey' last='Crabb'], [player_tooltip player_id='173601' first='Ava' last='Patterson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='149946' first='Jada' last='Farrington']. Here are seven players who are uncommitted as of right now, but are very talented and will put those talents on display this week in Norco.    After seeing more footage of Smith play, I feel like my original assessment was pretty close, but I saw some other things I really liked. I like how quickly she comes for the ball, and I like how bold, brave and physical she is in fighting for positioning in her box. She does a good job of getting big when she's in 1v1 situations as she can deny attackers in just about any situation. She's a very athletic and quick keeper who shows good reactions, she's smart and she understands the nuance of the position.     Vacanti is a very fast player who gets up and down the touch line very quickly. She's great with the ball at her feet as she can carry and take on defenders, and she's great about cutting in on the ball and letting a wide forward under or overlap. She can play a ball down the line or play it inside and continue her run and be a threat. She's very dynamic. She's also a good on-ball defender who is tough and physical and wins the ball with a great tackle or with her ability in the air.     Gordon is one of the better defenders you will find in the midwest. She does it all as a center back. She's incredibly instinctive, knowing when to step for the ball or when to hold her ground and get ready to defend. She's strong and physical as she takes the fight to the attacking player. She's also very fast as she can keep with forwards, and she reads angles really well which allows her to beat attacking players to the ball.     Comparato is an exceptional No. 10, one who sees the field well, plays a beautiful ball and helps the team transition quickly. She links up well with her forwards, she can lead the build up by carrying the ball down the pitch, and she can really split the backs with a precise pass. She's dangerous in creating for others or herself.     Bock has wonderful soccer instincts and a top notch feel for the game. She occupies and manipulates space very well. She poses a threat because of how well she exploits space. She receives the ball well, she is constant movement and she has fantastic foot skills.     Listrom continues to impress me as an all-around midfielder, a strong pivot player who can probe with her ability to possess and dissect a midfield with her ability to make precise passes. She has great technical ability and technical understanding as she can really impact a game. She's also very good about disrupting the opponent's midfield and stepping into passing lanes.     Cooley is a very skilled and active No. 6. You can tell she comes from a defensive background, because she emphasizes that part of her game. She is tough and physical, likes to make a challenge and is a true ball-winner. However, she's very versatile. She is dynamic as she will roam and make an impact all over the pitch. She loves to find space to occupy, she can help push up and be dangerous and she has very good ball skills. She is a very well-rounded, versatile No. 6.
