Texas game-changing midfielders at ECNL Girls St. Louis

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2024 year will officially come to an end for the Texas teams that compete in the ECNL Girls Club soccer league this weekend, with the year-ending National Event in St. Louis, Missouri, set to take place from December 12-15.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's going to be a huge showcase, with four age groups and as many as 246 teams from the entire country competing across the four venues. There will be 14 teams from Texas representing the Lone Star State in Missouri, with Albion Hurricanes FC, Challenge SC, Dallas Texans, Sting Austina and Sting Royal making the trip to get some competition before 2025 arrives.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There will be plenty of talented players from the Lone Star State to watch this weekend and I am listing a few in the days before the event. A talented left-footed playmaker, she can be used in a few different roles as part of the team's offensive system. Parker has the vision and the passing ability to operate as an attacking midfielder, helping create chances around the penalty box and supporting the team's forwards. She can also be deployed out wide on the left, where her ability to beat opponents off the dribble and send dangerous crosses into the penalty box can generate goalscoring opportunities. A dynamic and skilled midfielder, she dictates the pace of her team with her accurate and intelligent passing, determining when to play more directly or not. Cervantes shields the ball very well and is very hard to dispossess, being able to keep possession when under pressure in the center of the field. A hard-working and talented midfielder, she has played a major role for her club team for years, being one of their pillars in midfield. With her high motor and defensive prowess, she gives the team a lot of stability, allowing her teammates to push forward with confidence.
