3A Matchday 8’s Best Performers

The 3A level regular season series comes to an end with this article. Matchday 8 left us with some great players to analyze. Perhaps the most important matchday for some teams, the way these players stepped up was impressive. The following were the best players, in my opinion.    Avery is an impressive attacking midfield talent who impressed in difficult conditions. On a waterlogged pitch, she helped her team to pull off a crucial win. Her ability to cover her area is impressive, especially given the conditions. With heavy legs, she moved around with remarkable ease. Understanding the difficult situation, she understood how to progress plays as cleanly as possible. Her shots are also very impressive. With an eye for goal, she takes aim if she's given the space to do so. These shots don't just go awry either, often finding the target.     Katherine makes <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2025/04/3a-matchday-6s-best-performers/">another appearance</a> in this series, and deservedly so after yet another fantastic performance. The striker showcased her immense ability in both spearheading attacks and being the final point. If she needs to drop back to help progress play, she'll do so very well. Her most common role, however, is being the final player, the focal point. When she runs in behind, she's unstoppable. Her pace and strength make her impossible to stop for opposing defenders. This allows her to be through on goal constantly. When she's in prime shooting positions, she manages to finish brilliantly. Missing is harder for her than scoring, regardless of the pressure on her.     Lila is a wonderful talent who excels the most in the final third. Able to take up a role as a striker/attacking midfielder, she proves that she's versatile in attack. This versatility is indicative of how much talent and how selfless she is. Skillful and intelligent, she often embarrasses players with remarkable coolness. She often leaves players in the dust, whether it be through her dribbling or her passing. Her passing is fantastic, combining both precision and power. The player she reminds me of the most when she plays these passes is De Bruyne, playing passes that left me speechless. Her ball striking is fantastic too, combining technique and accuracy. In the box, she demonstrates her fantastic finishing ability, too.     Kamrey plays as a striker who clearly has exciting potential. Fast and determined, she proves to be a constant headache for opposing defenders. When given the space, there is no player who can reach her for pace. Another fantastic attribute of hers is her dribbling, often leaving multiple players on the floor in one play. This applies even when she's in the box, making defenders look silly by scrambling to get to her. Her passing is great too, finding teammates in prime positions if she isn't there. Her best attribute, though, is her finishing. In the box, she converts chances into goals for fun. Once she clears the defense, she makes it a point to do the same with the goalkeeper.     Zaniyah makes <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2025/04/3a-matchday-6s-best-performers/">another appearance</a> in this series, proving how effective she is for her team. The left-footed right-winger helps her team tactically wonderfully. By staying as wide as she can, she opens up spaces for both her and her teammates. She always looks to centralize plays, whether it be through dribbles or passes. In this matchday, she got 2 goals and 2 assists in a 5-0 win, all thanks to her wonderful tactical positioning.
