It's going to be a battle!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mighty Woodinville Falcons will be taking on the Hazen Highlanders in what could be the match of the season. These two powerhouses met earlier in the month for the District Championship game with the Falcons handing the Highlanders their lone loss of the season. Hazen has bounced back since and shown everyone that they deserve to be in this state title match. The Falcons have cruised through the postseason with notable wins versus Newport, Kentridge and Chiawana. Both squads possess stacked rosters with each team featuring their respective conferences 2025 Offensive Player of the Year in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='33455' first='Cooper' last='Conley']</strong> (F, Woodinville, Jr.) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='288219' first='Vitaliy' last='Polyukh']</strong> (F, Hazen, Sr.).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Once the whistle blows, all the previous matches will not matter! His eye for goal is keen and his finish is nothing less than gorgeous. His smooth foot skills set him apart from his peers and his ability to take shots from all angles and ranges make him deadly on the pitch. Cooper's accuracy is stellar and his shot percentage on frame is legit. He consistently wins header challenges from set pieces and can overpower a defense with his size. Conley will run wild if you let him and dropping a hat trick on an opponent is small potatoes for him. He is not shy when it comes to shot attempts and will pepper the defense with the smallest of windows. Vitaliy moves seamlessly with the ball and is deadly accurate with his touch. This Kingco Mountain Conference OPOY is a menace and will make his presence known early and often. Zach is a leader on the Falcons team and is a field general during the game. Song is also a physical player that doesn't back down and works through contact. Owen and his defense posted 13 shutouts in 2025, and he will be looking for 1 more to close out an amazing season. The GK position is the backbone of any team and Pruitt has given confidence to his squad that he can help lead his team to the title. Owen was named the Conference Defensive Player of the Year this season and deserved every bit of it.
