California 2029 Soccer Watch List: Six Rising Stars

Some have recently switched clubs, while others simply haven't had the exposure to get in front of enough scouts for a full evaluation. She has been US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She is an athletic shot-stopper with quick reflexes. She is fully capable of making saves to shift the outcome of the game. Tate found a home in the Surf style of play and she burst onto the scene during the second half of the club season and during the playoff run to the National Championship. She previously played for Sporting CA USA. Carattini carved out a role for herself with the Surf squad and was instrumental in the championship game for the ECNL National Title. She is clever on the ball and tends to combine with teammates. She plays into space and opens up the field for her team. She played for Sporting CA USA last season. She has been part of US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She's also been part of the ID2 program. She can play as an outside back or a center back. She is right footed. She has the qualities to be an elite defender in this class. O'Brien's move to Legends should get her into a spot to feature as a top outside back. She has the pace and 1v1 instincts to win in that role. She can be an option going forward as well. She previously played for Dallas Texans during the 2024/2025 club season. She joined Surf during the season and featured during the playoffs.She has only looked better in every game since then. She was outstanding during Surf Cup. She could be a top forward in the ECNL Southwest 2011 age group during the 2025/2026 campaign. She's a hungry goalscorer with an unrelenting approach.
