She just happens to be a 2030. She is part of the US Soccer National Team in the 2011 age group, which isn't a surprise. She's also a key piece of the National Champion San Diego Surf squad. Taylor has the reputation as a key player on the Surf team. She has the physical quality to play against older competition - Surf doesn't typically promote players across age groups but will sometimes bring a team as a whole to play up an age group or two during an ECNL showcase, which would be fun to watch the Surf 2011 get a chance against 2010 teams during this club season. She does a lot of the little things really well - checks her shoulders, receives the ball with the correct foot, always working off the ball to get to a passing lane. Chheng's main traits are the strong foundation, which sets her up for long term success. She does back that up with highlight reel quality on the ball. She is an excellent dribbler. She would be a top winger in this class, if she were to play on the wing. She can beat players with her first touch and body feints. When she is past the first defender, she uses her body well to leverage the trailing defender onto her hip so she keeps possession and makes any recovery effort lead to a foul.
