Girl’s College Commitment Scout Grades Chapter 47

Some will be happy, others might be pissed off and eager to prove me wrong.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have to give a big shout out to @ImYouthSoccer Instagram page for keeping up with these names flying off the board. Incredible work.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 &amp; 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments are not official until a letter of intent is signed. Players &amp; Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent commitments. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. If you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schoolers do what you have the opportunity to do. These grades are based on overall fit, style of play/positional need of that particular program, how the program is performing and if I believe the commitment will last 4-5 years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I also encourage players to make their highlight reels easy to access for scouts to evaluate on their social media platforms. The SoCal Reds striker shows a good burst of speed, and a very calm demeanor in possession on film. A goal threat as well and able to play anywhere along the front 3. I would love to see her check her shoulder every once and a while. Definitely something to add to her game before arriving on campus. The Stars ECNL product and Medfield High School standout is headed to a program that has been outstanding this season. With their only loss this season coming in August against Rutgers they are currently on a 5 game winning streak and will most likely win MAAC regular season crown. Shirley impressed me on tape and looks a little under ranked to me. She has an amazing shot with both feet and great footwork on the ball to create her next action. Tough as nails on defense and loves a slide tackle the central midfielder can be a day difference maker for this Cardinal program. UIW is 4-7-4 and will need to win the SCC tournament to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The young goalkeeper is headed to New Mexico State in 2027. I couldn't find any film, accolades or even a club. However, you can't teach height and length. Kraymick certainly has that. She is a NEFC product who is an outstanding dual-sport athlete (hockey.) Excellent burst of speed and powerful shot. She can play on either wing preferring to cross the ball from the left side or cut in onto her favored left foot for a shot from the right side. The Riverhawks have had .500 season this year and I think they have acquired a power 4 talent with this one. She is average size for a Division 1 goalkeeper and possesses excellent reactions when shots come from close. She claims high balls really well and has good distribution. The Bears are 8-6-2 this season and will need to win the SCC tournament to qualify for postseason. Dishner is a Midfield/Forward combo player who has good club pedigree with FC Alliance and a Science Hill High School standout. Couldn't find game film only a couple of training videos where she showed excellent technical skills and work ethic. ETSU is a very respectable 8-3-6 this season which is a huge improvement from their 4 win season a year ago suggesting this program in on the mend. Valdez is a technical magician on the ball. A BVB international academy product will be playing division 1 soccer next season. She is a top 100 Texas talent and is definitely a true #10 that needs ball winners around her for her to truly thrive at the next level.
