Girl’s College Commitment Scout Grades Chapter 50

Some will be happy, others might be pissed off and eager to prove me wrong.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have to give a big shout out to @ImYouthSoccer Instagram page for keeping up with these names flying off the board. Incredible work.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 &amp; 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments are not official until a letter of intent is signed. Players &amp; Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent commitments. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. If you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schoolers do what you have the opportunity to do. These grades are based on overall fit, style of play/positional need of that particular program, how the program is performing and if I believe the commitment will last 4-5 years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I also encourage players to make their highlight reels easy to access for scouts to evaluate on their social media platforms. She has excellent club pedigree playing for the top Girl's Academy Club on the west coast in Lamorinda. She is great in the air and an excellent finisher that I think will lead the line for this program down the line. At 8-3-4 this season with league play concluding soon Big Green will have to win the Ivy League Tournament to ensure postseason qualification. She is a Maryland United product with excellent technique and a good physical profile built to last at the division 1 level. The Leathernecks have had a season to forget really struggling to score goals and letting a lot in. I'm not sure how many hearing impaired players have played Division 1 soccer but it can't be many. Tumey is doing just that. A member of the Deaf USA National Team Tumey is a powerful athlete that is great in the air and has excellent technique. The Flames have been awesome this season with an 11-3-4 record and currently on a 6 game winning streak headed into the Conference USA Tournament. Tumey has all the talent to produce similar results for this program in the future. The World Class FC talent is an energetic outside back that is tenacious in the tackle and great in transition. The Seawolves have achieved an 11 win season and may have the opportunity to play in the NCAA Tournament if they win their next two games in the CAA Tournament. She is great destroyer of opposition play showing excellent toughness and good angles when pursuing the ball. She takes space well and is a fantastic line breaker offensively. Murphy has great club pedigree playing for Racing Louisville. She is headed to a program that has finished at 10-4-5 this season with a disappointing end at the hands of North Florida in the ASUN tournament. The Chaps are 7-6-2 with a couple of games remaining this season. She is a top 150 talent in California headed to play at the Division 2 level. The club pedigree speaks for itself although I couldn't find any film or accolades for her so difficult to truly gauge.
