The stage is set for some big-time goals from the Girls NorCal Fall 2025-2026 season. The players featured are top-level scorers, including college commits and high school sophomores gearing up for the upcoming recruitment year. Some will focus on the recruitment year, while others will be a treat to their high school teams, as they definitely play a huge part in the overall success.

The great part about this group of players is that most, if not all, of them will be with their teams at the Phoenix Showcase in a few days. Scouts from Power 4 conferences, top-level college programs, and U.S. Youth National Teams will definitely be on hand to see them.

At around the 13th minute of the first half, a pass was played back by Rage and [player_tooltip player_id='187366' first='Kiyomi' last='Yoshimura'], the U.S. U-15 player and International Training Camp - Germany Alum jumped the lane and made a run to the box while cutting past a defender before slipping the ball past the goalkeeper for the opening goal. She made it look easy as she effortlessly weaved through the defense and finished with a smooth and calculated shot towards the corner post. Yoshimura was her usual self, setting up her offense by making crisp passes and leading the tempo with the pace of play. Her tactical skills are top-level, and she seemed really locked in, especially in the second half, where MVLA dominated possession. Kiyomi is also ranked by Prep Soccer at #4 in California, #1 in position (Midfield), and #39 in the Nation for the class of 2028.

Goal #1 - [player_tooltip player_id='187366' first='Kiyomi' last='Yoshimura'] - MVLA G10 - Midfield - MVLA at [program_tooltip program_id='283434' first='Pleasanton' last='Rage']

https://twitter.com/BayAreaSocScout/status/1960898546301030577?s=20

She had a strong game, displaying excellent communication, quick and precise passes, high-level ball possession, and making strong runs in the attacking third. Definitely a certified scorer, and I've covered two other matches in which she scored 2 or more goals, with one match in which she scored 4 of her team's 7 goals. Parenti showed her scoring range today as she received a perfect cross from a set piece and headed the ball down in front of the goalkeeper for a bounce goal. She can also drive in shots from distance, but I believe she prefers high-percentage finishes in the box.

Goal #2 - Sloane Parenti - MVLA G10 - Forward - MVLA at [program_tooltip program_id='283434' first='Pleasanton' last='Rage']

She had a strong game, displaying excellent communication, quick and precise passes, high-level ball possession, and making strong runs in the attacking third. Can't wait to see where she will land on the next ranking update.

Goal #5 - [player_tooltip player_id='335972' first='Hannah' last='Shank'] - Mustang SC - Forward - ECNL G10

https://twitter.com/BayAreaSocScout/status/1983733296447299909?s=20

She led the attack for Mustang SC and scored their only goal of the match, but it was a beauty. The great buildup was what made this goal special. I counted at least 7 different players getting a touch before she sent it home. It deflected off the far post after it was shot or passed from outside the 18. Her quick reaction got her the goal, but it was her ability to read the defense that got her in the open position. Hannah was also good at finding open lanes in the attacking third, and she made quick, accurate, and decisive passes up top. Both teams have traded players in the past few years, so it's safe to say that there is mutual respect and admiration for each other. Although they might have had a recent coaching change on the Surf side, their style of play remained the same, and the 4-0 Surf win is somewhat of a statement win against a really good Force team.

[player_tooltip player_id='111092' first='Emi' last='Lo'] had a great game. She was active on both ends of the field. A box-to-box player with a strong impact on offense. She was responsible for at least 2 of the 4 goals. One came on an assist from a corner kick in goal #1, and the other was a perfect set-piece goal rising over the wall and dipping right below the crossbar. She is a top-level player about to get more recognition at the high school and ECNL level. Emi is also a Brown University commit.

Bonus Goals - [player_tooltip player_id='111092' first='Emi' last='Lo'] - Midfield - Brown Commit - [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] G09 - vs. [program_tooltip program_id='283641' first='De' last='Anza Force']

https://twitter.com/BayAreaSocScout/status/1967782347757195629
