Class of 2027 Boys' Piedmont Standout Midfielders and Attackers

<p>Continuing from the <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2026/02/class-of-2027-boys-piedmont-region-standout-gks-and-defenders/">previous article</a>, the next positions to look at are the midfielders and attackers from the Piedmont region. Just like before, the four players in this article were featured in their respective articles for <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2026/01/best-of-boys-class-of-2027-northern-piedmont/">northern</a> and <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2026/01/best-of-boys-class-of-2027-southern-piedmont/">southern</a> Piedmont.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Midfielders</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">It's hard to write about <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2025/08/week-2-charlotte-metro-preseason-best-performers/">Yousif</a> without it being a paragraph simply praising how talented he is. Whenever the ball gets to him, it's as if he's playing a different sport. His movements, controls, passes, and dribbles are all so incredibly smooth. He can get out of immense pressure without putting in too much work. It is magical to watch him play, truly. Defensively, he's great as well. Having to play as a double-pivot, he finds himself in the center of play in whatever context. He wins the ball back categorically and intelligently. When he goes in for tackles, he makes sure the ball either remains with him or is no longer in a dangerous position. With a player this talented, it's not a matter of "if" but rather "when" we will see him shine at the highest level.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Miguel is a defensive midfielder who imposes himself fantastically in the heart of the pitch. Though he's typically shorter than the players around him, his physique allows him to steal and shield the ball easily. He's able to keep it in his possession even if there are multiple players on him. His tackles are also strong and effective, cutting the opposition's attacks short. On the ball, he's just as great to watch. He uses his physique defensively to keep the ball away, but offensively, it's purely technique. Nimble, agile, and quick, he gets past markers as if they weren't there.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Attackers</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Justyce is a forward whose attributes allow him to play in any attacking position. His pace gives him the edge against defenders in open space, especially if there is a lot available. He'll beat the defenders easily, then face the goalkeeper with great composure. If the spaces are reduced, he dazzles with his fantastic skills. He doesn't use them to show off but rather to be effective. This sort of flair translates to his passes. He isn't one to shy away from a trivela pass if he needs to use it. On the topic of passing, this is another one of his strengths. He's intelligent and purposeful, only playing passes when and where they make sense. Controlling the tempo of attack is also something he does fantastically, timing his movements and decisions just right.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Kevin is a relentless and determined striker who knows what he wants and does everything to get it. His movements in to space are superb, knowing exactly where and when to be to finish chances. The movements he makes off the ball also allow for there to be chances that just a few seconds ago no one would have expected. His pace is phenomenal on and off the ball. However, his acceleration in small spaces is devastating. Again, with or without the ball, whenever he shows those extreme bursts of pace, you can expect the same outcome. In or near the box, his composure and control, both mental and technical, are fantastic. Receiving an uncomfortable ball or a crucial pass does not faze him one bit. He'll pounce on any chance he gets brilliantly.</p>
