Mendez decided the match with a confident penalty kick shot and worked well as the focal point of the Rangers' offense. The striker didn't get much service inside the box, but still found ways to get involved and facilitate his team's attacking plays with intelligent decisions. He often dropped to get on the ball around the midfield line and did well at using his body to shield it before releasing it to a teammate in a better spot. Mendez made a smart diagonal run to get into a good spot inside the box before drawing the penalty kick and converted it with a firm, well-placed shot.

Mackie had an excellent performance at left back and helped the Rangers sustain their lead and register a clean sheet. He dominated his zone and won most of the duels he was involved in, standing out for his good choices and solid defensive instincts. GFI Academy used players of different profiles on the right side of their attack, and Mackie adjusted well to each of them, having a flawless defensive performance. He had a few good moments in the attacking half as well, most notably one in the second half in which he dribbled an opponent out wide before getting into the box and attempting a pass that was deflected.

Playing a box-to-box role, Wang helped the Rangers dominate the center of the field with his intelligent and efficient game. The midfielder didn't put a foot wrong in the entire match and was just very effective with everything he did, providing a great deal of stability for his team. Wang was very active defensively, popping up in the right spots to stop plays and managing to win duels even against more physical opponents. His intelligent game also made an offensive impact, as he consistently managed to find solutions to keep the ball or move it to a teammate when under pressure and facilitated some of the Rangers' offensive plays with quick passes in the attacking half.

Playing on the left side of the Rangers' attack, Okpara was an interesting offensive weapon for them with his ability to drive the ball forward. He made some good runs down the line and kept GFI Academy's backline under constant pressure. Okpara played a key role in the Rangers' game-winning goal by finding Mendez in a great spot inside the box with a pass behind the backline before he was taken down. The winger also made valuable defensive contributions, showing good energy to press high and determination to track back and win duels.

Frank helped the Rangers produce a clean sheet by forming a solid center back duo with Almounzir Doutoum. Playing more to the right, he was very quick to get to long balls and passes behind the backline, efficiently shutting down plays. Frank also did well when defending inside the box, dispossessing opponents and blocking shots in key moments. The defender had a big role in the team's buildup and demonstrated solid passing accuracy, often finding teammates open in the attacking half.

Ruiz had a strong performance in GFI Academy's backline and helped his team limit the Rangers' offense to a single goal. Playing as a right-sided center back, he made numerous stops inside the box, showing excellent positioning to make last-second tackles and avoid shots. He also did well in 1v1 duels and when covering his teammates in wide spots, doing a good job of keeping them away from the penalty box. Ruiz did a good job on the ball and helped his team create some chances in the final minutes of the second half with long passes sent into the Rangers' box.

Glaze was very active at the defensive midfielder spot and was one of GFI Academy's most consistent and productive players. He showed great effort to shield the team's backline and did a good job of keeping the Rangers' attacking midfielders under pressure when they stepped into the final third. Glaze was very important in GFI Academy's buildup, at times sliding between the center backs to get on the ball. His distribution was very solid overall, and he showed an interesting ability to set up attacking plays with long passes.
