Pennsylvania 2029 Girls Rankings: Top Emerging Talent

The Prep Soccer state rankings for the Pennsylvania 2029 class were updated this week. Below is a scouting report on six talents that have been influential for their team's success this season.    [player_tooltip player_id='268440' first='Ellie' last='Lebe'] is a forward/midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='286904' first='Century' last='United'] 2010 GA team. She has been part of the US Soccer Talent ID events in the past. She is an elite center forward in the Girls Academy and has a high ceiling in that role. She can play with her back to the goal and hold of defenders. She has a good first touch and a ton of strength.   Lebe has been a prolific finisher this season. She's found ways to score in the most important games for her side. She has shown the quality to be considered among the elite talents in the state.     Konkle is a defender/midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='286904' first='Century' last='United'] 2010 GA team. She can play pretty much any position for her club team. She is an exceptional passer. She plays with her head up and picks out the correct teammate for the next pass consistently.   She's had a number of assist this season - some of them to Lebe - thanks to that pin-point accuracy on the pass. Konkle has impressed scouts with her versatility and competitiveness. She's an impossible player to take off the field as she can do so much for her team.     Weigand is a center midfielder on the Penn Fusion 2011 ECNL team. She has been part of the Gotham FC Talent ID events. She's also been a frequent call-up to the US Soccer Talent ID events. She was a Second Team All-State selection for high school as a freshman.   Weigand is a high activity midfielder who will get involved in the attack. She covers a ton of ground during the game and can pop up as a box-to-box midfielder or an attacking midfielder. She has a nose for the goal and often puts herself into key spots to exploit the opposition. She's been a key player for the Penn Fusion side.     Dorman is a midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283334' first='HEX' last='FC'] Bucks 2011 ECNL team. She's one of the captain's of her club team. She's a player who reads the game well. Her soccer smarts shine from game film. She's great when her team is in active in the press and she's closing off passing lanes and organizing teammates.   She's shown good quality on the ball as well. She has a good first touch and is comfortable playing out of tight spaces. She does well moving off the ball to get into a spot to support teammates. She's right footed, and tends to favor that side, but she can rip off a pass or shot with her left as well. Dorman has been a bright spot on the [program_tooltip program_id='283334' first='HEX' last='FC'] squad in 2026.     Hillery is another versatile player who can do a bit of everything. She is a center back, center mid, or forward. If speed is the calling card for success, she has tons of it. She has blistering pace and it shows up on game film. Hilley will eat up ground on the opponent in the blink of an eye. It's fun to scout her game film to see just how much of a lead a player needs against her for a 50/50 ball.   She's a good defender. She uses her body well and knows how to break pressure. She probably has a future at outside back as well considering her 1v1 defending skills. She's put together some outstanding games this season at center back, which has been quite impressive. Hillery's versatility is certainly a key asset of her game and makes her a top player in this class.     Chang is a winger on the [program_tooltip program_id='283649' first='FC' last='DELCO'] 2011 team. She stood out immediately from game film. She is also a top talent from lacrosse. Chang has good instincts on the ball and in 1v1 situations. She also a fiercely competitive athlete.   Chang has been a key piece of the Delco attack. She's found ways to impact the game whenever she gets touches. Scouts have taken notice and she's been part of the Gotham FC Talent ID events.
