The other half of players to look at from the Piedmont region are the midfielders and attackers. Just like the previous article, this group of players is some of the most talented for their age group, transcending just the state. The articles used for this are from both the north and south Piedmont's best players.

The player used for the south region in attack--[player_tooltip player_id='380045' first='Noah' last='Hufnagel']-- is different than the one in the article--Morra Francois. Morra now plays for Real Salt Lake in Utah after leaving [program_tooltip program_id='283629' first='Charlotte' last='FC']. For that reason, I chose Noah from [program_tooltip program_id='283284' first='Charlotte' last='SA'] as the standout player instead.

Adam is one of the most talented players I've seen at this level, who I believe isn't too far from making his professional debut. The Palestinian U-17 international has everything you can ask for in a midfielder. Technically, he's very gifted. His ball control gives him an advantage when he needs to progress the ball. Progression comes easily for him, whether it be by passing or dribbling. His most impressive passing ability is his long passing. The way he finds players far from him so precisely is impressive. His shooting is also fantastic, especially from range. He isn't afraid to shoot, and he bags a few from these. Defensively, he's also very solid. If he plays in a double pivot, he'll recover the ball whenever he needs to, then jumpstart an attack.

Carter is one of the most technically gifted box-to-box midfielders I've seen so far. His presence wherever he finds himself is felt immediately, regardless of whether he has the ball or not. On the ball, he finds space to create danger from. His chance creation is fantastic, especially when he's in or near the box. When he finds himself in pockets of space to operate in without a shooting angle, he picks out a teammate to finish a chance fantastically. With a shooting angle, he makes the opposition pay. His shot accuracy and power are unbelievable.

Noah is a fantastic attacker who can play anywhere across attack, but performs best as a winger. Whenever he gets on the ball, you can tell he's going to create danger. He's fast and direct, which usually means that technique takes a secondary role. This isn't the case with him. If he can't immediately beat a defender with pace, he'll do so with his agile dribbling. When he's through on goal, he positions himself correctly to get a great shot off. He doesn't have an aversion to using either foot, which makes him a difficult player to deal with for both defenders and goalkeepers/

Grant is an attacker who consistently proves why he's one of the best in the state. He's prolific for both club and school, proving how consistent he is. His tactical understanding of the game is noticeable when you pay attention to him without the ball. With the ball, he puts on a show. He's technical and determined, making him almost impossible to defend. His shooting is superb, finding the back of the net easily. Passing is another thing he has in his locker, knowing exactly when and where to pick out the correct pass given the context of a play.
