The ECNL Boys League is set to go through a decisive moment in the next few days, as the playoffs will take place in Del Mar, California, from June 25 to July 2.

The event is set to reunite 344 teams from all over the country at Surf Sports Park, as the best regular-season teams from each conference will make the trip to the West Coast to play in matches that will determine the outcome of their campaigns.

Competition from the U13 to the U17 age groups will start with 66 teams (48 for the U13s), and only four in each group will qualify for the ECNL Finals, which will take place in Richmond, Virginia, from July 17-19. For the U19 age group, the field is limited to 32 contenders and the definition of the league champions will happen in Del Mar.

Texas will be largely represented in the event, with as many as 42 teams hailing from the Lone Star State to compete in the playoffs over the next few days. Some of the top players in the Lone Star State will be in action in the event, and we'll feature some of them in the days leading up to it.

Reyna is the starting goalkeeper for the Solar SC Academy B11 team that will play Tennessee SC, PSA Monmouth and FSA SC in the tournament's Group J. He's a skilled and reliable shot-stopper who uses his positioning and technique to handle long-distance shots and is capable of making acrobatic saves thanks to his athleticism. Reyna has good command of the penalty box and navigates it intelligently when he comes out to claim crosses. The goalkeeper also has nice quality with his feet and moves the ball efficiently out of the back.

Stover is part of the BVBIA B10 team that will have Beach FC and Lobos Rush as their first opponents in Group Q. He's a technically sound goalkeeper who knows how to use his length to make an impact between the posts. Stover is very consistent with his actions and rarely puts a foot wrong, transmitting calm and confidence to his team. He has quality when moving the ball with his feet and is very smart and accurate with his throws, often starting quick transition plays right after making a stop.

Alfaro and his Rise SC B10 team will start the playoffs in Group A, where they will compete with XF Academy, Marin FC and Richmond United. The goalkeeper is one of the top players on his team, delivering reliable and strong performances for them between the posts. Alfaro has firm hands when making stops and is very explosive and determined with his actions, doing whatever is necessary to keep the ball off the goal. He's also a vocal leader for his team, maintaining effective communication with his teammates throughout matches.

Fandino plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='283457' first='San' last='Antonio City SC'] B09 team that was allocated in D alongside World Class FC, Davis Legacy and LA Breakers FC. He's a terrific shot-stopper who stands out for his reflexes and athleticism, making spectacular stops between the posts. Fandino is very quick, too, and that shows when he needs to leave the goal to challenge opponents 1v1, as he manages to take up a lot of space from them with his quick movement. He needs no time to scan the field after making a save and is very good at quickly delivering the ball to a teammate and setting up attacking plays.

Jurado plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='337386' first='El' last='Paso Locomotive FC'] B08 team that will start the playoffs against Beach FC. He has a very solid skill set that includes good size, impressive technique and a calm attitude in goal. Jurado makes the most of his length to stop shots and does a great job of always having his body in the right shape before going for the ball. The goalkeeper also thrives when claiming crosses inside the box, as he's very effective at reading the ball's trajectory and the players' movement to get to it before everyone else.
