Five Forwards to Know From the Updated Texas 2029 Girls Rankings

<p>The ranking will continue to be consistently updated so it accurately reflects the progress achieved by players over time and presents a clear picture of the Texas landscape, always keeping in mind each prospect's potential to make an impact at the next level.</p>   <p>After some months, the Prep Soccer 2029 Texas Girls State Ranking was updated earlier this week, with new players being added to the prestigious list that features only the best of the best in the Lone Star State and the existing ones having their positions adjusted ahead of the start of the 2026-2027 club season.</p>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li><strong><a href="https://prepsoccer.com/texas/rankings/girls/2029-rankings/">Texas 2029 Girls State Rankings</a></strong></li> </ul>   <p>The updated Texas 2029 Girls State Rankings now feature 170 players from every corner of the Lone Star State, and we're taking the week to present you with some of the most intriguing names that made the list. These forwards have the ability to make a difference:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Bledsoe is the top-ranked forward in the Rankings and appears in second place overall. She represents Westlake Academy during the high school season and plays for Sting Royal in the ECNL League at club. A dynamic attacking player who can be used as a forward or in the midfield, she's typically the main offensive catalyst in her teams. Bledsoe is tremendously skilled on the ball, combining it with impressive quickness to beat defenders in tight spaces or in transition. She's part of Memorial's high school team and features for [program_tooltip program_id='283243' first='Albion' last='Hurricanes FC'] in the ECNL League at the club level. Sadlowski is skilled and well-rounded, and can play multiple roles in the attack, having the pace and dribbling skills to make plays on the wings and delivering goal production when used as a striker. She works very well with her back to the goal and is very good at getting to the end of long passes, being an interesting option when her team wants to play direct. She stars for Royse City High School and is a key player for [program_tooltip program_id='283317' first='[program_tooltip program_id='280767' first='DKSC' last='']' last=''] in the ECNL League at club. Quick and dynamic, Oubre is a handful for opposing backlines with her ability to get on the ball and make plays. She likes to drift wide and is a real threat in space, using her skilled left foot to beat defenders and her pace to leave them behind. She plays high school soccer with Tyler and just switched clubs, going from BVB in the Girls Academy League to [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] in the ECNL League. Howard's ability to make runs behind the backline is one of her main assets and generates multiple goalscoring opportunities for her. The forward not only times her runs extremely well, staying onside on most occasions, but also peels away from defenders to create space when the ball reaches her. She also does a good job of getting involved in the team's playmaking, either dropping deep to make runs through the center of drifting wide to go at opponents in space.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Borel was picked for our Rankings Watchlist. She's with Leander during high school and leads the line for [program_tooltip program_id='283397' first='[program_tooltip program_id='278668' first='Lonestar' last='']' last='SC'] in the ECNL Regional League at the club level. Also a track and field athlete, she uses her pace to leave defenders behind and make plays out wide, being a reliable chance-creator for her team. Borel has an excellent first touch that gives her a head start over opponents and sees the game very well, delivering great passes in the final third.</p>     <p></p>
